The Gobbler... I usually don't like allots of things on my turkey sandwich but half I listened to the owner. Amazing

Awesome sandwiches - I love the gobbler and their potato salad. I also sometimes order just the smoked turkey.

You will not regret the drive! Wow! Award winning BBQ with friendly service. We tried the two meat plate and the gobble sandwich which were both excellent. Don't forget to try their sides which just accentuate their BBQ. The brisket was moist and flavorful. The ribs were fabulous with perfect flavor balance. Sit upstairs for a view of the exotic race car track next door.

Quick service on a mid-morning stop to grab some brisket breakfast tacos. Truck stop restaurant. Very good portions and great flavor. Pitmaster was there to talk with amd enjoyed the experience. A top 50 in Texas and worth dropping in to try the various meats. We'll be back.

One of the best briskets I ever. People were really friendly. I was a little nervous being in Texas for the first time as a "brother" but they couldn't have made me feel more at home. Delicious food for a fair price. Get here before lunch time because they fill up fast. Ambiance just to wrap up the review was old school bbq restaurant. Nothing fancy but spacious enough. Love this place.

My husband and I had heard that this was a wonderful barbecue place. We moved from Fort Worth to Granbury so it was a perfect stop for us. We went in with high expectations but I hate to say they were shattered. It was very little food that was just OK for a huge price.

Once again I find myself driving an hour to come eat at BBQ on the Brazos. Living in the metroplex I am surrounded by good BBQ but this place in Cresson has been the my most consistent and favorite BBQ. Just a great restaurant. Always get a special if they have one. Brisket is off the charts. Bring your family and watch the races while you eat on the second story overlooking the track.

First, let me say the folks at Brazos are the best. However, nobody goes into BBQ place in Texas thinking "I can't wait for the Turkey sandwich". Get your usual brisket, ribs, and sausage which as all 5-star but you gotta try the Gobbler. Best turkey sandwich I've ever had.

I stop here once a week to get breakfast and it's decently priced. Ate lunch here today and paid $29.90 for a brisket and sausage sandwich and lays. I thought she misspoke but that's what I was charged. In what world does a brisket sandwich and chips cost $30????? Wayyyyyy over priced.

Had lunch at the Brazos last week and had their Chicken Gumbo. Awesome taste and food. Also had the Green beans. This place is the best, managed and run by the best pit master and cooks around. Breakfast is almost as good as the lunch at Brazos.

This has been one of the few North Texas BBQ s that has and can hold it's own with the hipster/tourist Austin central Texas scene forever. Everything is great. Meats are dialed in perfectly and are great. Buns are unique and none better around. Sides are mix of Que staples and house creations like cornbread salad. Yumm Yumm. Then there's breakfast. Holy moly are the breakfast tacos/burritos to die for. Only equivalent I can think of are Valentinos newly moved to Buda, Tx offerings. That is incredibly high praise for sure but John Sanford backs it up. He has been symbol of restaurant excellence and civic responsibility for many years. Get there by 12-1 to insure full menu. Nothing fancy here. Occupies part of convenience store in Cresson Tx. Adjoining restaurant is a road racing course. Your likely to see SWAT teams learning from professional drivers. Or maybe newest Corvette or Mustang disguised with paint or ridiculous fenders being put through it's paces. And the motor publication photographers desperately trying to get videos and pictures of what's coming soon. Put this on your BBQ and breakfast bucket list. They'll take care of you.
