Banh Mi Ba Lee

This shop has been around for years and I was finally able to visit. It's in a shopping Ctr very easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Great big smile very cheerful and helpful. The menu is small and consistent. I asked for the top 2 best sellers.Sandwiches are 5.00 and HUGE. Well made and good quality fresh ingredients. The French bread was flaky and pillowy. The veggies were crisp and had good distinct flavors. All sandwiches are dressed the same. #2 combination has pâté, butter and head cheese. This was my fav. It all just worked. A great bite 9/10. #5 grilled pork was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The pork had a marinade paired with the daikon was too sweet for me but I'd definitely recommend it 7/10. Don't think....add it to ur list!

We are visiting from the Bay Area. Our sister recently moved to Dallas and was in search of a good banh mi sandwich. We found this through YouTube. We are so happy we found it! The sandwiches are delicious, fresh Ingridents, and the bread is everything. Crunchy and soft French bread. We got the combo and grilled pork banh mi. Each is $5. What a great deal!!! The sugarcane drink was made with fresh sugarcane. Loved it! They make everything in house and fresh daily. Friendly owners and made all of our sandwiches really fast! There are spots to sit inside but we opted to get it to go. Very cute inside decor and clean. We will come any time we visit :)

I don't frequent this part of town as much, so it's been awhile since my last visit. Recently, had to stop to get my bahn mi fixing. Good to see that that they offer the buy 5 get 1 free deal. Overall, the store was clean and very simple. The menu is just some pictures of their bahn mi, but no price or description in English. Also notice my receipt after I got home that they charge extra for using credit card. I don't mind the fee, but it really needed to be posted or at least verbally tell the customer prior. Otherwise, the bahn mi was good as last time. As it's only my son and I that like bahn mi in our family, it took us 2 days to finish eating all 6 of them. One tip to heat them up is to microwave it for about 30 seconds then to toast them about 5 min to give that perfect crunchy toast on the outside while the veggies stay crisp. Overall, I still think it's a good place to go if you're craving for bahn mi. The star deduction is more for the lack of transparency in doing businesss, such as no English description, no price, and not disclosing to charge extra for using credit card.

Staff was friendly and food was delicious! Ordered the sugar cane juice and it wasn't too sweet, just right!

Been coming here for 6yrs and they are a great spot for banh mi. They even have nem Chùa. It's a small spot but food is always good.

Ok so I was a bit disappointed when I went on a Saturday because I really wanted to try the pork Ban Mi. The owner said they were out and insisted on the combo. I was being a bit rude so apologies for that. Well, I tell you what, I demolished that recommended combo order It was so delicious. I still have yet to try the Pork Ban Mi but I will go back soon.

#2 Banh MI Dac Biet, Special Combination. Ham, pork roll, pate, & head cheese. Pickled daikon radish, onion, & cucumber. Vietnamese mayo, cilantro, & onion. Flavorful & the veggie protein ratio was perfect. Only $5.00. They make everything but the bread in house. Try it. You will love.

First, the food is amazing! Best Bánh Mì in the Dallas area.The staff here is so incredibly nice and helpful. It's very clean and kept up with on top of all that. Definitely recommend!
