Bachman Indoor Pool

What a great place! They have open swim on Saturdays from 1-4. People bring their kids. Very large pool with warm water. Locker room and showers onsite. Plus, they always have a lifeguard on duty.Only $3 to swim!

This is a wonderful place to swim year-round if you can take advantage of the schedule. It's never crowded, it's very clean, and since being remodeled last year (2017?) the deck and locker rooms have wonderful resilient flooring. The staff/lifeguards are really nice. Finally the price is right - $3 each visit if you have annual City of Dallas Rec Dept card. For all these reasons -- and despite having to use I-35 -- it's my favorite indoor pool.

3 dollars to swim per person if you have a Dallas recreation card. It's worth it if you don't have a membership at a gym or nowhere else to go, and honestly its a pretty nice never crowded pool to swim at in the mornings between 8-9 and afternoons between 12-3 or something like that. That is when there is not leagues and reserved swim time. They also have a hot tub that is large enough for like 8 people. The pool is specially designed to help disabled folks, and I see quite a few elderly folks using the facilities in the mornings. The Bachman recreation center is specifically for those with special needs but those without can still use the pool facilities. Our stepson even did a lock-in one night while my wife was pregnant so its a great place honestly!

A great place to get your swim on, and a safe environment for your kids. I really enjoy the indoor pool, because I can swim all year long.

Quiet, peaceful swimming spot that you would absolutely love, and enjoy a relaxing Hot tub, And the lifeguards are so very friendly, love it
