So I have been here a few times and each has become worse than the time before.My husband and I went there Friday, we received dirty glasses and utensils. I asked my husband to taste my draft beer (the glass was dirty on the outside) can you imagine how dirty the inside.The refried beans tasted like watered down disgusting canned beans (seriously canned beans that have been watered down) - definitely not made fresh or from scratch - the rice of course is always prepackaged, flavorless - the shrimp not grilled, frozen warmed up and dumped in some fajita mixture of bell peppers, onions and jalapeños, very bland. Not to mention they brought me pot roast like steak by accident when I ordered shrimp. I watched them take my accidentally served steak, take it back and the server took it to the table they were all sitting at and eat off the returned plate - um that is a no go for anyone - I took the food home - to see if my dogs will eat it - not because I wanted to eat another bite - dogs pretty much will eat anything.My husband's tacos had meat in it that was to beef that tasted like Pot Roast - what the fudge. Even the queso fundido- is not that great - the change is just not up to par.They charged $10 for 4 sopapillas- which were nothing special - I ordered my son a huge burrito to go - just to see what he thought - well he stated the pork burrito tasted like a stew - this is not good - why does everything taste like stew or roast - such a shame this is what happens when you try to cut corners.I believe this place has failed it's partner in Stephenville - and I believe this place has cut way too many corners and is solely relying on the bar aspect -Maybe Azteca should go to Uncle Julios and see what or how a chain can do a bit better - not perfect but definitely better than Azteca.My husband has stated we will not return - I find very sad - Azteca is on a corner that has had many failures and I sure hope they will survive by changing their ways of the precooked food

Besides finding a hair in a lettuce side, the salsa Fresca was at least a day old. The meat in the tacos was rubbery and there were flies everywhere. Staff was nice (they can't help the kitchen which needs an overhaul) and parking good. The location is perfect however I don't know if they'll make it due to the poor food quality.

This was our first time to try Azteca it was great! We will definitely be back!!!!!!!! The service was great, the food came out quick and was really good. The margaritas were good and the table side guacamole. We have no complaints

I was pretty excited about this restaurant and it did not fully live up to expectations. Everyone seemed so angry. No one besides the food runner was friendly or smiled. Every employee seemed miserable. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The food was mediocre at best. The salsa and chips seemed processed and not fresh. However, the charro beans were absolutely incredible. Overall with the lack of service, dirtiness and just okay food, I was not impressed.

The dining experience left much to be desired. The food was overpriced and of mediocre quality, falling short of authentic Mexican cuisine. The tortillas were not homemade, and the chips and salsa lacked distinction. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent, the establishment was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, given the high prices, I expected a little more. We will definitely give it another try. Hopefully we just caught them on a busy night and they haven't quite got the swing of things yet.

Bit of an off night but still my go to in Weatherford. Slight delay getting drink and chips/salsa. Asked for no ice in drink. Strike one. Ordered one of my favorites, Taco Jalisco. this time a combo of carnitas and grilled chicken. Carnitas flavor was excellent but the kitchen included some gristle (see photo) that was unexpected and took the meal down a notch. Minor complaints but I try to be accurate and fair.

So loud the waitress can't hear to take order. Imposible to carry on a conversation. Really takes away from a dining experience. Water is awful Maybe slime in Ice? Shrimp- rubber- over cooked. No dish needs two dozen jalapeños slices. Server. Great. Food F Service AAmbiance F

This place had great food when it first opened - in fact, the best carnitas tacos I had ever had! Sadly, the food has been consistently going downhill. Last night, we ordered a side of guacamole and got something light green - so not sure exactly what it was - guacamole thinned out with sour cream and nothing else?? Husband's chicken crème enchiladas had hardly any meat. Very disappointing. Not sure we'll go back again.

Ready enjoyed our meal. The white queso is worth the price of admission. The fajitas, tacos, chips, dips were all tasty.

The food was so horrible I got there at 9 pm and the sign says closed at 10 I was rushed the whole time I could only order one drink because the bar was closing at 9:15 Same with the kitchen even though it says closes at 10 never coming back on top of all of that they added there own tip on my credit card
