This ridiculous place will not allow the patrons, most over 60, to stand in the air conditioning while it is over 106 degrees. No concessions or fans available. Boooo! Hissss! Please note on the tickets: Zero Access Until it opens, come early at your own peril. Update: they allowed us into the vestibule and we stacked in there for some relief.

I recently visited for a performance, this was my first visit. Wait till you get inside, you will lose your breath. This venue rivals other like venues in the world. We had floor seats, and the sound and view was the best. Prior to the show, we stopped by the bar where the drink is served in a go cup that can be taken to your seat to enjoy. The lighting inside is beautiful.

Very beautiful location. The inside is very nice and the lighting is beautiful. I've only been inside once for a work conference but would love to come here for an event in the near future. If you ever need daily parking in this area, I highly recommend parking here. If you're in the parking garage by 0900 and out by 1800, it's only $6/day. That's much cheaper than the other daily parking rates in the area. FYI, even though their sign is advertised as $7/day, they only charge $6/day.

Sure beats going to the movies. It's nice doing something a little different every once in a while. The day after Thanksgiving, my family and I went to go see The Nutcracker. I just thought it be fun to delve into the Christmas spirit since it is in season. The show was really great, but it was geared toward the young crowd -- but I'll stray away from reviewing the show, and just review the center itself. After the show, it's no question there will be a large crowd exiting the building. It was a huge hassle getting into the underground garage -- in the main entryway, there was only one escalator and 2 slow elevators. There was a very long line to get to them. I just wished they'd make the garage easily accessible, or at least make alternate routes visible. I didn't see stairs or anything else to get to the car quicker. My alma mater always gives away free tickets to see various shows here year round -- basically my way to take advantage of the inclusive tuition. I saw mostly operas, and it's really beautiful. Although operas aren't my go-to type of music, it's nice delving into some creative medium I'm not used to experiencing. There's also a show called Oral Fixation that is held at the Wyly Theater. I haven't gone to one, but am meaning to go. If you like listening to true, personal stories you can relate to from guest speakers, this is the show to watch. FYI: Lexus drivers, you're in luck. You get the Lexus Priority Parking space, which is the best parking space. So, use a Lexus to get here...if you have one.

Pretty cool concert location! Super clean restrooms. Garage is clean with easy access to the streets. Plus they have on-site security. I came here to watch a SELENA tribute band called Bidi Bidi Banda from Austin, TX.

So disappointed with ATT Performing Arts Center. We had been there before with great results, but for the Gypsy Kings, they let everyone from the back come up front and take over the entire area where we all paid for seats. We were completely trampled and run off from our seats. When we asked for help, they moved us out to the side behind a column and when we couldn't see we finally left. When we contacted them after, they blamed it on the band, took no responsibility and basically told us we should expect that at their outdoor events. As a make good, they offered tickets to another event - of their choosing! They also couldn't guarantee we'd even be able to see the stage for the event they wanted to give us tickets too. When I wrote back, including many of their senior executives there, NO ONE responded or even cared. We did not take their tickets.I can only say that if there is an outdoor event there, DON'T GO. They said they can't guarantee that you'll be able to see the stage or that you'll get what you paid for. Any business that doesn't give you what you paid or adequately make things good when they mess up, does not deserve anyone to give them more business.

First let me say the Winspear Opera house is awesome though bathrooms definitely were not thought out by architect. Too few for this many people. That said, the pricing for shows that are performed there by this AT&T Performing Arts Center (used to be Lexus Series I believe) makes no sense. I thought it was demand when I had to pay highest price category for 4th level (Dress Circle) nose bleed ticket for Book of Mormon. But I just checked Peter and the Star Catcher and find the nose bleed seats priced at $85 just like two available in orchestra. Makes no sense to me.
