This is the little deli counter inside of the 99ranch carrollton. I see a lot of low reviews of this place, but if you know what to get here, its actually very good, especially for the LOW prices. Definitely skip the dim sum as all the other reviews are stating. The noodle soups are quite good. The egg noodles have a good consistency and the broth is *usually* flavorful with tender meat if you get the beef. My favorite go to are the BBQ items. I usually come once a week for a 2 BBQ combo, you can choose from roast pork, bbq pork, duck, chicken. All of the choices are good and its served on rice w/ veggies, usually bok choi. The crispy roast pork only comes out after around noon. Also its best during lunch. By dinner time the food has been out too long and its not as good. You can also buy meat by the pound as well.

Imagine growing up in one of the classic Chinatown areas (San Francisco, Flushing, Garden Grove, Philly) and spending weekends there enjoying dim sum and other Asian cuisine with your closest family members. Then you move away from that hometown area for school and have urges to indulge in delicious dim sum. Asian Gourmet Kitchen has the ability to bring back those sweet childhood memories and aromas, but sadly, the food is just not up to par. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and the pork shumai, which smelled delicious, but unfortunately the same could not be said about the taste. The dumplings seemed overcooked and the fillings were already falling out of the dumpling skin, not to mention that they were overly salty. The shumai similarly had the skin falling off, but the taste was decent. All in all, it's a pretty quick place to drop by and grab some BBQ/dim sum/noodle soup if you get hungry while shopping at the 99 Ranch the restaurant is inside, but it's not somewhere I would go out of the way to visit -- there's definitely better out there.

How have I not notice there was a Chinese food eatery inside of 99 Ranch market? Sure it may not be the most delicious and freshly made food but it's made daily and cheap! Two entree combo with noodles are rice and a soup for 6.59! For that price in my opinion the food is pretty darn good and satisfying. Great to grab a bite to dine in or to go after you shop at the 99 ranch market..

So excited when ranch 99 finally was here as I've been to many while visiting California over the years. The first time was couple days after grand opening so the place was packed and lined with people. Food was mediocre but thought it's probably just too busy for them to handle the business. Well, it's been more than some time now and I've been back 3 or 4 times since. Each time, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. But time and time again, they just disappointment me. Last time, it was the beef noodle soup. It's like they were not even trying. There was the lack of flavor and aroma, and beef was far from tender.Unless you're in the area and craving some cheap din sum, I would drive the distance towards Richardson or Plano for something more genuine.

Quick and easy way to get dim sum fix and Chinese food. The chicken feet is very good. But was disappointed with the shrimp siomai and hakaw. They were not well steamed or maybe they just opened this am. The tofu stuff siomai is a little too salty. Price is a bit high for a self service cafeteria type place hence only 3 stars.

Everything was just okay. I got dimsum - pork shy Mai, shrimp dumpling, and shrimp on a cane sugar stick. They all lacked flavor. My husband got rice and noodles with stir fry beef and sweet and spicy pork. The pork was very fatty. The noodles and rice lacked flavor. The beef was alright. I'd recommend going to other places since there are a lot of choices outside of here.

I was thinking to grave a quick lunch here. I am disappointed with the quality. The soup is too sweet, and only one piece of lean meat, the rest of is stomach.

The ordering process is pure chaos here. There seems to be separate lines for the dim sum and the noodle soups because there are separated digital menus and stations so no one knows where to go to order what. The dim sum is terrible too. The ha gaw was dry and bland, the chicken feet was soggy and the flavor was wrong, the sticky rice is meh, the egg rolls were cold and the turnip cakes were bland. Not worth the hassle of ordering.
