Ashim's Hibachi Grill - A Fantastic Dining Experience!I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ashim's Hibachi Grill in Fort Worth, and I can confidently say it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant has a nice, casual vibe, blending the energy of a traditional hibachi experience with the convenience of a quick-service setup.Ambiance & ServiceThe space was clean, well-lit, and had a cozy yet lively feel. The hibachi grill setup adds a fun touch, making the meal not just about the food but also the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed without feeling rushed. Even during peak hours, they handled the crowd efficiently, which I really appreciated. The Food - Absolutely Delicious!I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of sear, and the shrimp were juicy and well-seasoned. The fried rice was a standout--fluffy, flavorful, and a great complement to the meal.I also tried the Fort Worth Roll, and it did not disappoint! The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and had a great balance of flavors. The spicy edamame made for a perfect appetizer while waiting for the main dish.Overall ExperienceWhat stood out to me the most was the quality of the food and the attention to detail. While some hibachi places tend to be heavy on sauce and oil, Ashim's strikes a great balance, letting the fresh ingredients shine. The portion sizes were good, though I wouldn't have minded a little extra rice!Whether you're looking for a fun hibachi experience or just craving quality Japanese food, Ashim's Hibachi Grill is definitely a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back soon! Rating: 5/5

The absolute worst service in Fort Worth. Ordered the hibachi steak medium and it came out well done. Burnt. The guy "chef" was dealing with another upset customer at the counter and our main dish took for ever to come out and when we inquired as to what was taking sooo long he got an attitude. Waiting 30 minutes after your salad and soup is ridiculous and then for it be overcooked. Literally we are talking about steak, fried rice and Veggies. We WILL NOT BE BACK! My sister loves this place and I will admit the salad and Miso soup was perfect.

Small place, cozy and casual atmosphere.. The food was good overall, but the customer service was not good at all. We had to get up to get our own water cups, silverware and the other half of my food. We ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi. The steak was dry, we ordered the medium and medium rare and both were overcooked.I will say it is very overpriced because you do not get the hibachi experience but it's the same price as its competitors. Also, you have to reserve the hibachi spot in advance, otherwise they bring it to your table. We will not be back.

Easy spot in Sundance to get a quick bite before a show. They have a very large menu & rolls. The rolls come with either miso or salad.

Pretty solid place after a night out. It closes at 4 am. I can't complain because it hit the spot. The front folks look miserable taking orders, but I get it. Floors were sticky when we were walking around. The food really hit the spot after a night out. The hibachi food was good, but it's nothing crazy. Food was well seasoned. The Hawaiian Pokebowl was really impressive though. It has Ikura, so I knew it was legit. It has a real nice refreshing taste to it.

Writing this while currently sitting at the table. We were here for another family member who said it was there favorite place. We waited 2 hours to get served and then only to get bs portions for overcooked steak that we had to remind the chef to get for us after reading he read the order back twice. The general staff was very sweet and accommodating making sure we all had plenty to drink and I can see why people find it as a good option late at night but definitely skip the hibachi and save your money. Go literally anywhere else...

Tasty hibachi bento box. The lightly breaded spring roll was a great complement to the steak. Enjoyed the flavorful yakisoba.

The food was so good! I was a little concerned when walking in because it has a "hole in the wall" feel and with sushi that makes me nervous, but once I had the food I didn't care what the place looked like! I had the salmon nigiri and the Texas Bull roll and my boyfriend got the steak hibachi and blue crab roll. Everything tasted excellent, even the Miso soup! The service was alright, we could see the cooks cooking and it looked like they weren't exactly in a hurry to get our food out so I wasn't surprised when it took longer than expected. Overall a great spot with good food and I would absolutely go again!

Such a good experience. The food was superb. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. You order your food when you walk in, get your drinks, and seat yourself. The food is brought out to you. Windows all around and booths all along the windows. Big city vibes which was really cool. I've never been to NYC but it felt like what I would imagine a restaurant there would feel like. We ordered miso soup, spring rolls, edamame, steak fried rice, and chicken fried rice. All so good. We will be back next time we're in the area!
