What a unique gem Fort Worth has in this place! The wide variety of classes and performances here can't be beat. As a producer and contributing artist, I am so proud to be associated with this place.

Treat yourself! Take a class in something intriguing. The instructors are all here for the pure pleasure of sharing their particular expertise: Tap, yoga, art, guitar, drums and more. Very laid back alternative art space. Excellent performances: jazz, blues, tap, gypsy jazz, one act plays....each one a gem.

I agree with Erin. Gracey Tune is the Artistic Director of this non-profit, fairly priced "hidden gem" in the reviving Southside "Cultural District." Everyone, regardless of experience or talent is valued, respected and taught with great care. In addition to tap and dance, they have everything from yoga to drums to art to zumba to theater arts...they even offer a "home school" fine arts program that gives students an introduction and participation in various areas of the fine arts. It is the best place I have found in the area to offer something for everyone from the very young to seniors (those with more life experience!). They also have great shows that are open to the public featuring music, art, dance, theater, etc. My experience there has been wonderful...and I am reluctant to try anything or anyplace "new" to me.

This studio is run by incredibly nice people, and the owner is as kind a person as you'll find anywhere. They value their students and respect them, so if you're interested in taking tap classes, I'd definitely recommend Arts 5th Avenue.
