As you will see from my previous review, the last time I was in the Arts & Letters Bookstore was quite some time ago, and the only reason I came in was to buy Granbury postcards. Well this time I was here to actually buy a BOOK! Thuy and I walked the Square a few nights ago, looking in windows. When we passed Arts & Letters Bookstore, we spotted a book we wanted to buy for our newest nephew. The book? "The Little Puppy (part of My Little Animal Friend)" by Nicola Killen. The clerk who helped us, Brandy, was very friendly and helpful.I asked about local authors, and learned there is a section just for them. In the same area, is books specific to Granbury. Very cool little find. I also bought some Granbury themed stickers for random gifts for random friends. I also joined the free shoppers club (if it has a real name, it slipped my mind), where after spending $100, you get $10 of your next purchase.I now know what people are getting for gifts next year... Books on Granbury, written by Granburians!

I adore this little bookstore in downtown Granbury. Even if you're not an avid book reader, it's a great stop for presents for other people because they also have various art supplies, stickers and jewelry. It's set up perfectly inside, well organize and even has lotsof personal reviews of books to help recommend your next great read.

They have EVERYTHING here! My kids love hanging out in the little nooks and of course they love picking out a book to purchase. Such a fun place. :)

Loved this bookstore in downtown Granbury TX! They had excellent recommendations for all of us. Mystery, true crime, historical fiction, Granbury Tx town history, cozy cat mysteries, they had a book in stock for each of us and we all sat down later by the lake and enjoyed reading. I personally got a history of the founders of Granbury Tx. It was very interesting and I actually finished then purchased the 2nd book on Kindle. I hadn't realized true history and diaries would be that interesting. Highly recommend stopping!

This is one of those "cute" shops that you want to explore and enjoy. I don't believe in walking in, declaring it's "cuteness" and not buying anything, so I do. Also, not only is the décor interesting and stimulating, they even have a bona fide AUTHOR working there! That was impressive (I bought her book), and she signed it!! This darling shop is set up to encourage parents to bring their children and pick out books to buy, take home, and enjoy for years. The shop has a great assortment of grown up books, in all kinds of genres. This summer they had a birthday part for Harry Potter and it was a huge success! When you're taking a stroll around the Square, take some time to peruse this unique shop.
