Anton's is not like any store or restaurant in the DFW area.They are a grocery market specializing in imported goods.You will find high quality imported goods mainly sourced from UK & South Africa premium manufacturers. This is a family owned business with a lot of charm and great tasting fresh breads, meat pies, meat products like biltong (beef jerky). Their imported groceries are a true find with spices, canned goods, jarred goods, custards, biscuits, candies, crisps, meats, and so much more.They started in this small shop in Roanoke (North Ft. Worth) and expanded twice in the same location to support their restaurant (scratch kitchen) and now a grocery store.During the holidays they offer hot cross buns and other seasonal goods so visit often. Get the biltong, amazing biltong, angus, wagyu, piri, piri. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Cabanossi, meat pastries, and ofcourse The BISON. What an amazing unique establishment. Huge shout out to Nicole and Anton for their kindness and PHENOMENAL store!

My girlfriend and I have been comingHere now for about a month now after we stopped in on our first visit. The store is great, lots of South African groceries to choose from. We have been eating in the restaurant every visit, and we haven't had a bad experience from the food, or owners yet, (I don't expect to either.). My new favorite is the, "bobotie," and my gf likes the mince stew a lot! Bobotie has a meatloaf flavor and a bit of a sweetness from what looked like raisins. It's delicious regardless. Their breakfast is great as well! The biltong, (jerky) is a great snack to purchase, if you eat every 3 hours like I do. It'd make a good stocking stuffer around Christmas for your family and friends, if you might not know what to get anyone. All of their products in the shopping center would be Great gifts this holiday season. We will continue to come here weekly to eat, shop, and chat with the owners. They're very friendly, helpful, and make great food! Awesome bakery as well. Their loafed bread is light, fluffy, and scrumptious.I could keep reviewing every item we've had, but it would be better if you just stopped in and tried it for yourselves. Don't be hesitant in stopping in, you won't be displeased!

We love to get the frozen foods. The pastry pies are wonderful! We have several varieties frozen in our home freezer. They come in especially handy during the holidays. We just had a Cornish pastry pie and it was delicious!

Edited to add that we still return here and they have now added a mini grocery store filled with South African delights (and a few treats from England too!).

Big fan of Anton's. Picked up groceries yesterday including spicy biltong and 2 hot chicken flattie's. The peri peri marinate is delicious! Support local!

Awsome places It's too far from where I live, but when I do go there It's an awesome place.I like that they are at grocery store and a restaurant all in one Anton has introduced me to south African cuisine, and I am a fan of this cuisine I cannot pronounce the names of some of the items, but the sausage is awesome South African food might be foreign to most of my friends the ones they try they will love itI want to see more South African restaurants in north Texas

This was my first exposure to South African cuisine and boy have I been missing out! Try everything, it's all delicious! The attached store is great as well. The staff is very friendly and will happily chat with you and make great suggestions. It's nothing fancy when it comes to decor, but the food more than makes up for being visually a little bare bones

Good biltong, only wish they still had the mini cafe and served the farm bread. They do have the recipes online though. Also the staff is very friendly and will let you have samples. great service overall!

I am so grateful for businesses like this one!They care about the family! They care about their local community, and they spoke out boldy against Drag Queen Story Hour!I wish we had more businesses like this one, which not only invest in unique cuisine, but are not afraid to do what is right and speak up for others. I am really grateful for the pro-family atmosphere of the restaurant, too, plus the fact that they are a grocery store, to boot!
