My wife and visited this location based on some neighborly advice. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Small for a typical restaurant, but just right for a Taqueria. The staff were polite and efficient. We started with chips and salsa. My wife enjoyed the salsa, I prefer my salsa a little chunky. Our main course were the street tacos, my wife only requested the Carne Asada. I went with a trio of Pastor, Barbacoa, and Carne Asada (they also have chicken). I enjoyed them all, but my favorite was the Carne Asada. They served the tacos with red and green sauce. Just the right amount of heat and taste great! We'll definitely be back! P.S. they also sell margaritas to go.

Ay Que Rico! That translates to OOoo wee thats bussin bussin! Here is where you can find tacos, tamales, birria ramen and Papas (baked potatoes) that will have you saying- Ay Que Rico! Añejo Taqueria offers authentic Mexican food Chihuahua, Mexico style.One other translation- If I say check it out (pronounced SCCHEKKIT-OOUTTT!) - that means this is your sign to go enjoy it! I do not really have to call it a hidden gem or say I am obsessed, right?Héctor and his family really has something going. He brings the flavors all the way from Chihuahua, México! I love how passionate he is about his food. His hard work has paid off. Ay Que Rico! Worth it!The standouts: birria de res & consomé, tamales and tacos. I already have plans to go back. I want to make my way through their whole menu.

Been here several times. We always start off with chili con queso. My favorite is their street tacos, I usually get a combination of pastor(my first choice), asada and barbacoa. Their beef quesabirria tacos are also really good. All the meats I've tried are very flavorful. Margaritas are awesome and strong. Service is great, very attentive. The owner always comes by, says hello and check on things. Ambiance is nice, the place is small but cozy.

We visited Anejo Taqueria in Fort Worth, located off Beach and Basswood. They offer $2 mimosas until 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive staff. Although the restaurant is small, with limited seating, it has a full bar and plays great music, including Ranchero and Hispanic pop. Complimentary chips and salsa are served with meals. We tried the Birria Tacos, which were outstanding, and the Birria Ramen, which was flavorful but had similar toppings. The Togo Churros with caramel and chocolate were a nice touch. As first-time customers, the owners offered us palleta shots. When I mentioned my embarrassment at never having tried pozole, Hector kindly brought us some to try. I'm so impressed. Taco shop inside a gas station this place has a line though the convince stop and I can see why- YUM!The Birria taco is amazing and the consommé is among the best I've ever had anywhere! I can not believe how satisfying this place is. Gentlemen at the register is phenomenal, engaging, dynamic, he's steering the ship on getting orders out while providing personal interactions with the customers. I love to see this leadership and investment into ones work. What a professional.I can't think of anything I would change about what I've eaten today, the brisket is also absolutely fantastic. While it might seem expensive to spend five dollars on a single taco. I think you're getting a good value for the amount of meat, prep and taste. Even the cheese fries are good, although they didn't really look that appetizing the cheese is a winner and no fry was left behind.Seating will be hit or miss, and you can grab a drink from the store while you wait for your food.I now feel a sense of duty to eat every single thing on the menu, what a great find, I will be back.

Wow, what a great find. Small place with good atmosphere and excellent service. A true Mexican restaurant and not the usual Tex Mex. After my lunch I ordered a dozen tamales to go and can't wait to try them. I will go back soon.

What a cute and delish place!!From the moment we walked in...The Entire Team was totally welcoming and great service!From the chips, salsa, birria tacos, asada, al pastor & barbacoa tacos were fabulous also!We can't wait to come back!
