I'm so glad I decided not to go to national chain for lunch! I ducked into this "deli" and was blown away by the quantity and quality of food. It's a sparsely decorated but very clean venue that serves trays of traditional Korean fare. They were out of or didn't have bibimbap (stillunsure because I thought the menu on the wall...) anyway the meal was huge for lunch and really exciting with cabbage and radish kimchi, purplerice, and a half a crab for banchan (side dishes). I'd never had korean crab before and found it rather impenetrable, bot physically and intellectually... myself a fish out of water trying to crack the shell with pure broiler force while napkins were wrapped around it... still wondering if anyone knows what that was or how to eat it...Can't wait to visit again! The hostess was very kind to the odd man tripping in for bibimbap. :)

This place is a small Korean place "a taxi driver restaurant" as Koreans call it. They have a limited menu and it's legitimately run by 2 ahjummas (older ladies) it seems about half of their menu is already made and packaged like the kimbops and the chicken (which are both amazing!) they are NOT a service and serving restaurant. This is a self place, you order at the register, grab your water, and utensils yourself, grab you food from the counter next to the registrar yourself (if it's hot or need to be cookies food it comes on a metal tray after prep- if it's already packaged you grab it from the table next to the register. Then you sit eat and clean up your stuff yourself- put the metal tray with all dishes on the tall metal rack and go! The food is very good! It had a homey taste! Highly recommend! But they are again not serving you, customer service is not really a thing!

FYI the sign outside says "Ajumma Sundae Deli", not Kimbob Deli. Not sure why Yelp has it under a different name. Anyway, OMG. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Price and portions are unbeatable. I don't think anything on the menu is even over $13 and the Ajummas are so so nice. You can taste and feel the warmth in their food! This is by no means a fancy Korean place, but the food gives homemade, authentic vibes. I always get the Beef Stew Hot Pot because I literally can't seem to get it anywhere else since Volcano Soon Tofu closed down. It comes with 3 sides, 2 of which will always be kimchi and the third one is rotating. Some dishes like the Tonkatsu does not come with sides. All delicious! After you pay, there is a counter to the left where you pick up food which is also where the complimentary fishcake soup(?) is located. I grab a bowl of soup to start my meal and enjoy it while I wait for my number to be called. On rare days that I don't finish my meal, I will need a to go plastic container to carry the soup. They do charge $0.50 I believe for a plastic container but I think it's pretty reasonable given how unbelievably affordable and they are. I try to remember to bring my own. The styrofoam takeout boxes are free though if you're not eating soup. They messed up my order twice but both times were handled very satisfactorily. They gave me a totally different dish from the one I ordered and just came out with a brand new one without making me return the first one. The second time they forgot to add rice cake into my beef stew hot pot so they made a whole bowl of rice cake soup with clear noodles. Both times, they made amends with a smile! I will keep coming back again and again til my dying day!

Great place to get traditional Korean food. We got the bulgolgi and tuna kimbap, sundae, and tteokbokki with ramen. Spent less than $30 and the portion is pretty decent. I didn't even finish my food, service was quick, and it's great little spot to eat with family or friends.

I really enjoy Jjolmyeon and Sundae at this place. Generally, everything tastes good. The portions are quite generous. It gives you a feel of a typical Korean snack place. It's always satisfying to go there, and the variety of choices is great. The service is also good.

I have been to this ROYAL LANE location (one by Komart) for many years. The prices are very reasonable. The two ladies that work there are always so sweet and caring. Their smiles make me and my mom's visit always so smooth sailing. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. This is the better location and should be rated higher! The soondae comes out pipping fresh, always hot and ready to eat. Soondubu has a lot of seafood and comes with raw marinated crab as a side dish (can be purchased separately as well). A lot of good things about this place I should've written a review a long time ago. They do close on Sundays! The ambiance in the place is quiet, peaceful, and calming. No loud sounds and no music. Very amazing environment.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The kimbop is delicious and the location is unassuming. The service and people are 10/10. We were craving kimbap after a long day and they were closing in 5 minutes but let us eat quickly anyway.

Great spot for . The kimbap is packed up and ready to go by the cashier for those looking for a quick meal on the go. Otherwise, there's a larger menu for things that can be prepared. My mom, sister, and I decided to dine in, but a lot of people came in for takeout. We got two things of kimbap, a tteokbokki, and fried dumplings. We also ordered a side of fish cake soup, not knowing that a little bit of it comes with the tteokbokki, but it was good that we got it, because it stayed warm longer (it was a larger portion). You order at the counter and pick up your own food when it's ready, and then bus the table when you're done. The cashier wasn't the friendliest to me, a noob who took longer than she wanted to order, but she was super busy trying to juggle everything so no hard feelings.I would definitely go back for a quick meal.

Delicious traditional food. I had the jjolmyun (spicy cold noodles with vegetables) and it was good. Will definitely come back and try other food.
