Ai Sushi Sake Grill

This sushi place is one of my favorites and I've only been here twice! The food is delicious and so are the cocktails. The service is very good. The place is very spacious.

I don't know how long this place will stay open, their menu on paper is very extensive, but they barely have anything in stock. And probably not even fresh. Used to love this place. Hate to see it going down like this.I wish the new ownership would do things for the better. They need to fix the sink in the restroom that has been broken for about 8 months, hopefully they'll get a new pest control company so we don't get anymore tiny roaches at the sushi bar. Restock on missing items or change menu, it's really disappointing to drive all the way here to only to hear that they are short staffed and short on kitchen items.

Panic Roll, Candy Cane Roll Always obsessed with the candy cane roll--consistently fresh and delicious. Tried the panic roll for the first time today--pretty great, nice and spicy!

We were in the neighborhood craving for some late night eats. This restaurant is open late and really hit the spot for our sushi craving. The service was very friendly and efficient. Our waitress was great! The ambiance reminds me of a bar/club. It would be a nice place to hang out with friends or with a date. I am deducting one star for their very dark restroom. It was clean but the lighting was pitch black. Being in the city I know that keeping the area clean is a struggle with people coming in and out. We didn't need to park as we walked in as we were staying at a nearby hotel. I did notice there were some street parking spots available. Overall if you are craving some late night eats, this is a good spot to check out. The sushi is good (not phenomenal like more posh sushi restaurants)...definitely great for the price it commands. Worth a visit!

This is the first sushi place I have tried so far in Dallas and it was a win! I picked it because it had good reviews, was super close to me, and more importantly, it had my favorite sushi combo. I am picky when it comes to sushi and this restaurant had my favorite roll! Score! I can't say much about the ambience or service because I got my order to go, but when I went inside to pick it up it was nice and quiet. For 6 pm on a Friday it was pretty empty but had lots of to go orders ready. Mine was ready when they said it would be which I appreciate!Food was great!!! I got the Shrimp Tempura roll which is the roll I always look for at every sushi place I try. Happy to have found a place near me that has one, and for a great price!! The only negative about the sushi and why I have not rated it 5 stars is because of the way the roll was wrapped. The black seaweed wrap was so hard to eat, I had the hardest time chewing and swallowing it. At one point I started choking and got scared it was going to end badly... but I survived. Really unfortunate that it was so hard to chew. I wish they would reformat this roll like traditional rolls so that I would not be hesitant to order again. It really made it unenjoyable to eat as I was struggling to chew it for every single piece. I also got beef fried rice which was a 9/10. Had lots of vegetables, the beef was delicious, and the portion was amazing. I found myself adding a good amount of salt and soy sauce though, but I don't mind. I am also very picky with my fried rice so very happy I found a place that makes it how I like. I will definitely be coming back here and getting my same order again. Maybe cutting off the black seaweed though as it was just really scary trying to chew it. Can't wait to come back.

** I want to update my review from 1 to 3 stars. The geisha rolls flavors and freshness were amazing. The sauces were not what I've seen in the past, but it doesn't mean that the role wasn't delicious. The rest of my review is accurate. I used to love this place! I would order once or twice a month. The food always was delivered hot and fresh. I ate in the restaurant one time and found it even better. I am extremely disappointed tonight. The crab Rangoon was one of my favorites. I specifically had my delivery driver go out of the way from my other order to get it and this is what I got. I don't understand it looks like it came from the grocery store. The sauce came in a Whataburger ketchup package. I called to explain the situation and was even curious if it was from a different place. Unfortunately, the people I spoke with didn't speak English very well and they said that this was just how it was. It's not their fault. it's definitely the new ownership and chefs (if this is the situation). I am at a loss and extremely sad. This was one of my favorite places. All I know now is that the pictures do not equal the food I received.

This place was delicious. We came during Thanksgiving and felt welcoming. The food was fast and fish was fresh along with the drinks were delicious! Highly recommend!

Last time I tried this place out was two years ago and three years ago. The last time was quite disappointing and I have 2/5 stars.Ordered via Uber eats on a Sunday afternoon around 2 PM. Food didn't arrive till about 3 PM. All the items inside were really wet... it look like the salmon heaven had a bunch of fluid in it & might have spilled everywhere.Salmon Heaven - Again, no description on the UberEats site, but this again did have sliced jalapeño and Sriracha on top with some other sauce. Salmon quality is watery and not creamy - I suspect this is why it has jalapeño, Sriracha, and drowned in sauce to hide the poor salmon quality again. Dragon Roll - Bite sized, but unagi is strangely dry & seems like it's been sitting out in the open for a while. The sauce doesn't have the stark sweetness that I typically expect from a dragon roll. Rice was quite bland & tastes more like plain rice instead of sushi rice. Alaskan Roll - Pieces are slightly larger than biter sized. This salmon quality seemed better. Rice was quite bland again. Overall, it was sushi. Nothing was terrible, but Maybe slightly less than average? Prices for this type of quality are exceptionally high and not worth it IMO. I would not recommend this place. I would not intentionally go back.

Caught up here with an old friend! The food presentation was really good and overall it was really Yummie! Really good service too!!

Ordered via uber eats. Menu portions not clear. Place is a rip off! 3 pieces of low quality sushi for $16 is atrocious. Don't waste your money or time. Big disappointment! My order was 3 cokes, beef gyoza (6), California roll, sushi sampler (3 stupid pieces) and a chocolate cake for $80 plus tip. Highway robbery. These people are making money hand over fist.
