Last Sunday was the Spooky Paddle and Costume contest. If you missed it make plans for next year.Everyone had a great time. The creek was well decorated. The missing kayaker was the hit of the creek. I made last year and again this year. I am planning on next year. Come join me.

I've been on two paddles with this group and I had a wonderful time! Professional, skilled and always fun!

Horrible customer service. I first went to the website to reserve a kayak, then when I showed up for my allowed time, no one was there. I spoke to the office manager and she said the lady who runs the kayak rentals isn't here and I would have to call her. I did so, and the woman told me how troublesome it would be to set everything up and do it today, but I told her I wanted to do it. She told me she was be there in 20 minutes, and it has now been over an hour waiting for her. I will not use this business in the future, and I am very disappointed. I would be paying $20 and hour, but I guess they don't want my business.

This was so amazing! I definitely felt it was worth the money! Will be recommending this to friends and family in the area. This is a great date night for any couple. And the sunset was great! Can't wait to do this again. Recommended for any age group. There were kids ages ten to older adults! Did I mention it's three hours long!!!!

I made an online reservation 3 days before. It was easy, and we were very excited. We showed up for our scheduled time and there was no one to be found. A nice gentleman who worked for the Parks dept. said that the owner would not be in today as it was too windy to Kayak. I never received a call or email saying we would have to reschedule. The gentleman also mentioned that this happens all the time. I called the number and spoke to a rude woman who said she never received my reservation and asked if I wanted to come the next day. I will say the only good thing about this was how quickly I received my refund. Try going to Joe Pool Lake I've heard they have great rental companies.

I highly recommend Teresa from Adventures Unlimited Paddling Co. to anyone who wants to learn to paddle. She is very kind, patient and knowledgeable in the sport and definitely is a great kayaking instructor. I had a very enjoyable time on the lake learning while having fun. Teresa will make you become a more confident paddler.

I arrived a little late for the sunset paddle and found Theresa and Maria onshore getting kayaks ready and in the water with the help of three other friendly paddlers. I have little kayaking experience, but luckily Theresa is at ease as an instructor. She and Maria made sure my life jacket and foot rests were in order before we set out. The island was peaceful: a blue heron, clumps of white flowering bushes, and (I think) blue butterfly bushes. As we returned after dark, the lake was like glass. Theresa stayed nearby to show me how to paddle without shoulder strain. She teaches without micro-managing--a good trait--and she knows a lot about the communities and commerce around the lake. If you go, expect to help unload and pack up the kayaks before and after the trip. In my experience with canoe companies, that's normal procedure, but it does add time to the evening. I would have enjoyed more information about the wildlife and vegetation on the island.
