Addison Oktoberfest

PROST! Crowded it was this Saturday night. Long, long, long were the bier and food lines. Change of plan, strolled and shopped around. Stopped at all three music stages, clapping, dancing, and, learning polka the night away. Fun time. As we were leaving to grab a bite outside the festival, serenaded we were of "Sweet Caroline" with a polka beat. :))))))CHEERS!

Always a great experience going here. Fun vibe and everyone is mostly pretty nice and giddy. Thurs and Sundays are usually free entry and fri and sat is ticketed. There's a good amount of food vendors and they take card. There's a couple of main areas with different shows, dancing, music, etc. Fun to come with friends or family and chill, eat good food, and drink beer. Something to look forward to every year and do on a weekend.

Talk about a great event to have a fun time, try some great foods and drink some beer! Addison Oktoberfest is one of the funnest events that this city holds. If you have not been yet, you should check it out if you want to have a fun day. I went during the nighttime so that the weather was cooler than during the day. Everything had long lines, but if you wait until about 9:30-10:00PM all the lines pretty much went away and all the food was easy to try. There are a bunch of vendors to shop from, so many foods to try, and the main party hall was so much to see all of the dancing and festivities. 5/5 experience!

Wow! At least two thousand people, great bands, beer, pretzels and brats. Loved it and will be back again.

Fun fall festivity to attend with family and friends! Free entry days on Thursday and Sunday so definitely take advantage since you're already paying a premium for food + drinks.There's multiple events happening throughout the park and a huge dancehall/tent to get your groove on. Beers are $8 and a souvenir mug tacks on an additional $8. Overall, wish they would make all days free but still fun!

It was hot. We went in the evening and it was crowded and the entrance fee can be purchased by scanning the QR code, pricey. The lines for all the food and beer was super long, crowded everywhere. You can't even find a spot to sit and enjoy your food or beer.

So glad I got to attend the Addison October Fest! Admission and parking were free on Sunday! Thank you, Jesus!There were lots of food booths to choose from. In and Out burger even had a booth there! It was the most popular! Lol. I loved the German Costumes, the Weeny Dogs and the popularity of the Wennies. Heck, it was more like a Weeny Fest! They might as well call it the Weeny Fest! Lmbo!.. I also enjoyed the old school rides, indoor seating and backdrops for photos. I recommend going when its free so you wont complain about the the prices for food and drinks. There's a few interesting restaurants in proximity that I want to check out. Id like to visit, Barrocho Taco and Slim Pizza!

They got rid of the carnival!!! I was so upset by this last night! The food and beer is still great, but I see no reason to pay for a ticket to this. So do not go if you are wanting the rides and fun houses! There is a lot of people trying to sign you up for things and sell you things so beware of that. It's really annoying. The music is good.

Been going for about 12 years. This was the worst. They tried to make it family friendly, but kids don't belong at Oktoberfest. No Spaetzle...bad food in general and you had to wait 30 minutes for a beer. So get your beer and immediately get back in line because you'll be done by the time you get back. Total trash festival.I've been to 3 Oktoberfests in Germany, this is a poor substitute.

I have attended Addison Oktoberfest for many years.This year (2023) was a great disappointment.
