Addison After Dark

So glad to see things opening up after the pandemic has eased up and people can finally come out of hiding. The.Addison After Dark concert series is a monthly attraction with live outdoor music that we need more than ever. The main stage in the southwest corner of Addison Circle Park is perfect for these shows.Here's the schedule for tonight's entertainment...https://addisonafterdark.com/70s-night-out/The music is great and In-N-Out Burger is giving out free cheeseburgers, chips and soft drinks. Life is good!Things aren't 100% normal, though. "Socially distanced circles" are drawn on the grass and you need to sit in your circle. Dancing is allowed, inside your circle. And, masks are encouraged when you move outside your circle.Coolers are allowed, with food, drinks and adult beverages. Wine and beer are sold here, too.After the sun goes down below the trees (about 8pm) it's fairly comfortable. We're definitely enjoying the show and will return for others.

We've been coming to Addison for their summer concerts for a long time, this year they've moved it to their big stage area which is nice lots of room to social distance. They've even added chalk circles spaced apart for you to sit in. Once sun goes down it is very pleasant. They have different themes, tonight is 70's with 2 bands and free In & Out meals. They are selling beer and wine but you can being your own which is nice. They even had a 30 min free dance lesson before the music.
