RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN! We came here before and it was super cold, we had requested to be seated away from an area that was not getting any heat from the warm lamp. So we had requested to move one table away which was away from the crack that let the freezing wind in. The workers don't know but I'm an honorary Korean. I knew exactly what they were saying . They were cursing us out in Korean not knowing we could understand them. Little do they know, I'm Yelp elite and you JUST MESSED WITH THE WRONG GUY PAL. Not only did the workers curse us out but they would obviously ignore us and give us snobby looks. I'm sad I used to love pocha 99. Now I just have 99 more reasons not to eat here Also food was okay lolz. The only good thing is the kimchi fried rice but ur not gonna get full

I ordered the tteokbokki and the tofu pork kimchi stir fry. The tteokbokki was pretty good, but the pork stir fry had very little meat or kimchi in it and felt like it was 90% onion and tofu. I've gotten this dish at multiple places in carrollton and it's usually my favorite, but it was just alright here. The service was fairly quick, and the atmosphere was pretty fun. The food prices weren't terrible, but the alcohol was a little pricey (the Terra beer is $3 more expensive than a nearby expensive kbbq place which i thought was odd.) I would give it 4 stars if there weren't so many places nearby that serve the same food but better.

Funny enough the drink in the picture was the worst item we had has this restaurant. It was called highballs and it was a little misleading on the image. We thought we were getting a different drink then the menu shows. The fried rice with the cheese was delicious. I was scrapping up the left over cheese. The atmosphere was fun. The sojo bottles are reasonably priced along with the food.Maybe my review is a little skewed because we had 4 bottles of sojo and two beers. So I left on a pretty happy note. Convenient location, walking distance to H Mart and other businesses nearby. Has some outdoor seating but I wouldn't sit outdoor until fall hits again while in this texas summer heat. Atmosphere: 4/5 small setting for group of friends. Food: 4/5 Price: 4.5/5

The food here is pretty good with ample selection of Korean bar favorites. The interior is a bit small with limited seating. I have been here on a few occasions and the service has been subpar. Once we came with a party of six and they had the liberty of seating us in the outside patio with the dumpster smells. The staff will not just ignore you, they will turn their attention to a different party if you are not Korean. Once had to wait almost an hour for a dish when I ordered two in total; It was never going to come, we left without receiving it. A separate time, someone from party told me they overheard the server cursing us out in Korean. now that's crazy..

My friends and I like coming here for girls nights since the food is decently priced and yummy. We normally get a bunch of stuff and just share everything. Favorites on the menu are the cheesy buldak chicken, Odeng soup, grilled chicken gizzards, and the army ramen. Good bar eats and good times! Service is usually really attentive as well.

99 Pocha is a lovely late night spot to come hang out with friends, espeically if you're out for a darker late night vibe or a casual hang out spot. With late hours, this restaurant is frequented by locals who got off work late or the occassional part goer. We got the kimchi jjigae, kimchi fried rice, and takoyaki, all of which came out fresh and steamy hot! I love the food here, it is consistently tasty and always hits the spot. The portions are rather generous in my opinions, with 12 takoyaki balls where most places serve half the portion and quite a bit of pork belly in the jjigae soup. The only thing I would dock from this place is the service. I know it can get busy, but servers walking by paid no mind to our empty water nor did they take up empty plates when putting down new plates. That won't stop me from returning though!

We came here with some friends and the food was delicious! As we walked in, we vibed out to some Doja cat and other great tunes! The smell of food and great energy were in the air! Couldn't wait to start eating! It took a little bit to get service, my partner had to go and order at the counter. Our server didn't come to the table after we were sat and the call button on our table didn't work. I was so hungry that I forgot to take picture of the food We got several dishes: the deep fried squid legs, the spicy seafood soup, the Korean seafood pancake, and the honey butter French fries! Everything was delicious! With definitely come back for the seafood soup and Korean seafood pancakes again!

We just came in for drinks one afternoon and had a good time and great service. We didn't end up eating here, but will definitely do so the next time around as the food seems like good old fashioned Korean bar food and who doesn't like that? There IS something I've never even thought about mentioning in a review but feel like it's important for this place. And that is all of the chairs were terribly uncomfortable in this restaurant. Ha! Maybe I'm just old now but it was definitely something my boyfriend and I both noticed immediately. We were allowed to sit anywhere when we first entered and so we first sat down at the tables but quickly realized that those seats were uncomfortable. We then moved to the bar area. Those seats were even worst somehow. It was like a stool that said, "Congratulations, you are no longer standing!" but somehow made you sit weirdly straight in an uncomfortable way. At this point there was only one other seating option left at the tables beside the bar area and it was like your typical fold out chair at a church function, which would have honestly been better, but by this point, the beer tower was out, and so we decided to just stay put with the weird bar stools. Anyway, I don't think I've ever in my over 1,500 Yelp reviews mention my chair sitting experience at a restaurant, but here we are.
