Great experience. Very accessible. I am pretty new to airsoft, so I don't know the lingo. Right away the staff and regular players were very welcoming and approachable. They answered the most basic questions without making me feel dumb. One of the guys looked at my AEG to see how I could improve it. He didn't charge me, and lent me a gun to play with while he worked on mine. They are very knowledgeable! The variety of players are a fantastic knowledge base. They'll help you no matter your skill level. The grounds are expansive and well-equipped. Super fun to play, and the variety kept things interesting. I was there most of the day and played on 3 different maps and game modes. I met a lot of ppl, some pros, some newbs, like myself. No one felt out of place. Things to keep in mind:- Make sure your in good enough shape to play! You will move around a lot. - The pros like to stick together. They're nice, but they'll light you up. Don't take it personal. Everyone is there to have a good time. - Don't be afraid to ask questions! Great community. - It's not a cheap hobby. Entry was around $30, plus BB's. More if you need to rent a gun. Plan to stay all day. - Ppl don't really start showing up and playing till after 10am. If you want to play right away, come around then. 9-10 is a great time to browse the store and ask questions!- They sell drinks and snacks and don't price gouge. However, you will need a lot of water and snacks. Bring your own lunch! Great place--great experience. Happy to spend money there.

I'm no Airsoft expert, so this is written with my limited experience in mind. My son and I travelled to 878 after learning that a World War Two event would be there. We'd only ever been to D14 north of Dallas before. First, 878's play area seems huge by comparison. Likely because it is spread out over a much larger area. The field is populated with several concentrations of structures and offers a variety of conditions. You can hunker down in a wooded area and wait to launch an ambush or rush in to take various "town" areas with concentrated buildings. This means you'll have a wide variety of play experiences to choose from. The field has a well-run little store with people that can help tech the various equipment problems that always seem to arise when playing. We've always had a good time with the people there. Good mix of ages and levels of experience. We've now been to two milsim events -Siegfried Breakthrough- and that takes the Airsoft experience to a whole different level. Highly recommended if you have never done it before be, be ready, it will wear you out.

Military simulation, lots of different spaces to his and shoot from. This is a great cardio workout and you wont even know it. We need more females out here. I can let off some steam by letting off a few rounds and no consequences lol. I love this places. Nice friendly environment and all the guys are gentlemen. If you dont have the right equipment they will show you what you need. I've never even shot a weapon before ans no military training either, but this is something I will definitely do again.

I have been to this field 5x so far over a 3 year period. Typically for the operation aftermath event. That event in of itself keeps me coming bank. The field, with its water ( creek, ponds, swamp area ) , trees, grades and multiple structures also keeps it real. And the field owner consistently keeps improving structures and staff is polite and professional.

878 Airsoft, definitely offers a welcoming & humble experience. The Admin staff are alert, fair and friendly service. I really enjoy Airsoft field/map with creativity & more expandable potential. 878 Airsoft Staff even made sure that we were all hydrated from heat. One key thing that was mention which was honored as a "Family Friendly-Environment"

Amazing group of guys that run this field. They will make you feel at home, even if it's your first time. This field is 60 miles from my home and I'll will make the drive every weekend because it beats any other field around me. They have 140+ acres of crazy terrain to battle your way through, very helpful if you have gear issues or have questions. I highly recommend this place for all your mil sim needs.

I will not be back. This is the second time trying 878. First game started at 10:30 with a total of 12 people for 15 min duration game, not my play style. Decided to leave and try it another day. Went back inside to ask for some type of pass to try a third time before writing the place off. Explained myself to the KID behind the register who looked at me and said how many people do you need there is like 20 people here. Well kid evidently more than 20 total players. I didn't ask for a refund just some type of pass to come back again. They need adult supervision over their customer service. If I had not said something about my dual hpa tank set up which is linked together for one LMG they would have charged me for two fill passes. D14 in Sanger is the best field in the DFW area. Both times I have been to 878 there has been issues.

Shitty service. No help at all. Paid $100 to play all day and not once played on the field. The workers were very rude and I will not be returning.
