Best mom & pop donut shop! Always delicious! Always friendly! If you're not looking for it you might pass it up!

Delightful donuts. A real treat for anybody in the area. The service is charming and always pleasant and they always try to have whatever you want in the counter ready to go, and if you do not see it then just ask it might be in the back waiting. This is our favorite donuts for the area, and you should give them a try if you haven't!

This place, is by far my favorite place for donuts. Their dough is unlike that of shiplys or any other spot. It has so much more flavor and texture. They sell out of their specialty donuts rather early. But you will be able to get glazed and chocolate without a problem. The owners are simply the best. So kind and remember all of their regulars. my family loves this spot!

This shop deserves all of the praise!!! The owners are so kind and lovely. Food is great. Pretty regular hole in the wall donut shop, but better than most because of the service.

Oh my goodness where to begin. The owners are delightful, the lady that serves me my food is just so nice and manages to make my morning so much better just with a 5 minute interaction. I love getting to support a small business and will only be getting my donuts from here as long as I live in the area. Bless them for their kindness.

This place is fantastic! We got a dozen donut holes 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 glazed. The glazed were perfect. The sugar coating crumbling and biting in to the perfect dough consistency Yum! I also got the large jalapeño and cheddar kolache. Again it was perfect The spice level wasn't hot but very pleasant and the dough again was that perfect chewy consistency. I'd recommend the large cinnamon roll as well, basically because if someone wants to try a bite they will eat the whole thing haha (I did!). The one thing I would recommend is them getting a small espresso machine at a minimum. The basic Folgers works, but I'd love a macchiato to go with all of that! Just saying...Support small businesses! Ignore the dunken donuts next and starbucks next door.

This is a hidden gem! The freshness and quality is better than any of the other shops I've been to in North Texas. The family who runs it are always friendly and seem to be working hard. Consistently great.

This was my first visit. The lady at the counter was very nice. They had a big selection of different donuts. The donuts and sausage rolls I purchased were very fresh and be tasty. I will return!

I realize that donut shops are a dime a dozen in this area, but 5am is my favorite by far. Always the freshest donuts!
