Formula Brewing

So many people have recommended this place to me and I finally got to check it out. I did not have their food so this is just a review of the venue and beers. The place was surprisingly huge. It's quite hard to find unless you know where it is (or GPS the location). Similar to some of the other local breweries, it's in the middle of nowhere inside an industrial park. It's next to fly fishing gear and trampoline stores. They offer parking spots right in front and there are indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating area is quite loud due to all the cars that go by (it's right off the freeway) but I am sure it wouldn't matter much when there are lots of people. I went right at opening and all I could hear was the freeway noise. I ordered the flight. You get to choose 4 of their 12-13 beers on tap. Prices range from 2.75 to 3.75 per beer and it was about....I would say ...4oz pour each. The more expensive options had ABV of over 11%. I really enjoyed both the barleywine and imperial stout (which won gold recently at the 2024 World Beer Cup). Their beers were much much better than Bellevue Brewing Company for sure. Service was good. Nothing crazy or anything but just right. Very chill and relaxed vibes. Because the weather was so nice when I visited, it kind of felt like I was at a brewery in San Diego. I will be back for food another time.

Pros: The place was attractive with its high ceilings and cool brewing tanks. The drinks are strong, and the service was friendly. Cons: While the pizza & flatbreads were fluffy with crispy edges, they lacked flavor. Also, the "mango habenero" wings had a spice level 0. I would personally just stick with drinks here. There's only a bit of parking in the front, but you can find more around the back of the building.

End the school year happy hour go to. You will find many teachers here come mid June. The pizza is cooked in a fire oven and so good!! Think crust and foldable. The artichoke dip had a bit of spice because it has jalapeños in it. Service is always on point also. Friendly and helpful when you can't decide between a beer or a cocktail. The vibes are super chill and total brewery culture with dogs and kids around. Parking is tricky here, but, you can find it if you don't mind walking a short ways. So happy the social committee at my school chose this spot for our end of the year social. Cheers. SYOP.

Funny enough, there was not an option to do 1/2 stars, so since hubby said three and a half, and I said two and a half we went with three even! This is definitely a brew pub and not really my cuppa tea! However, it was a nice enough place if you're looking for this type of experience. The tap room is a combination of bright and dim lighting. The interior is industrial, and according to my hubby their beer was unique and very good. He had the, I Got Jokes, which is a fresh hopped pale lager. Since I'm allergic to hops this is not something that would entice me, even a wee bit. However, as I said, to himself the beer alone would have caused him to give a three and a half! The pizza according to my hubby was also unique and very good. As for me, it didn't suit my taste so much. However, as a fire cooked pizza it was loaded with lots of fresh veggies, and definitely wasn't "bad". As a chef, I tend to be a bit harder to please! The service was great and overall we were glad for having had the experience.

This is a great spot for big group gatherings. They had several kid birthday parties going on when we went but still had enough space for others. They also have a huge outdoor area. Dogs galore were out there which is a bonus for dog lovers. The pizza was great! Had great pizza sauce. I love sauce! My friends thought the wings were good as well. Good beer with all the eats it was a good pairing. Great time after a day of hiking! Didn't have much interaction with the staff but whoever grabbed our dirty dishes was very nice.

Such a fun place! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, which are usually always packed and accordingly, it's a very loud dining experience. Beer selections are great and staff will let you try a bit if you're on the fence. Food and service are solid and it seems that this brewery is THE place for pizza night in the community (read: so many families!).In addition to pizza and beer, you'll find the usual suspects of appetizers, salads, etc. And although staff does go around bussing, there are stations to drop off your own dishes and to grab to-go boxes. If you don't find parking up front, there are a bunch of spaces around back; just follow the signs.

We had such a great time here in their spacious outdoor seating area where you can bring your dog. They also have a nice indoor area where you go to place your order. We started with a double IPA beer, vodka soda & a hot cider drink while we thought about what we wanted to eat. The service there is really friendly & they do come out to check on you & bring menus. We decided on a pretzel & wings. The pretzel was really good with mustard dip & beer cheese dip- both were delicious. The wings were big & meaty & perfectly crispy. We've had their pizzas in the past & those are really delicious as well.

Threw a surprise birthday party for my husband's 50th at Formula a few months ago. Ed couldn't have been easier or nicer to work with on the logistics. The entire team was so accommodating, made sure food was flowing and that all of our guests had a beverage in hand. Everyone had such a wonderful time and I couldn't recommend it more!

Pizzas were good and beer as well. Service was friendly and proactive. Good for family and kids!

Came here with a friend per her recommendation of this place having a great pizza and we were not disappointed. Not only the pizza was new york style with thin crust, also the choice of beers were on point. Very large indoor an outdoor area with family style tables. Outdoor area attracts maily families with kids, where the little can run around and play. I would say because its such a popular family friendly place they should definitely add a few simple games like giant jenga, corn holes and so on.Service is friendly, you can sample a beer or cider before you buy. Pizza menu is extensive, there are plenty of vegeterian and meat lovers choices, here are also a few different salad options.Overall, great spot with casual and friendly, relaxed vibes.
