Forefathers Gourmet Cheesesteaks & Fries

Best cheesesteaks I've ever had since living in Arizona. If you want the authentic, nostalgic flavor, get a cheesesteak with white American cheese, onions and green peppers. The sweet potato fries are also the best I've ever had, let alone their fry sauce is impeccable. Who needs ranch or ketchup when you have fry sauce?!? Quick service and comfortable atmosphere.

We've had better salads from Forefathers. Both salads were short on meat compared to the last ones we got plus the mushrooms were not sautéed as we've had in the past. Door dash did a great job of being on time but unfortunately the salads didn't quite hit the mark.

Always delicious. Always a favorite.Reminds me of growing up back in the Northeast. Trips to south Philly to grab a cheesesteak from Pat's or Geno's.This place is the real deal. Don't forget the cheese whiz.

All I can say is "AMAZING ". Best sandwich I have had in a very long time. We just moved here from Missouri and all I can say is I'm glad Forefathers is not close to my home because I would be there daily. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Thank you for a great experience.

So I'm from Philly and I could tell you one thing that's the best place to get Cheesesteaks and Arizona since I've been here you have a lot of fly by nights but this place is legit. I travel from Casa Grande just to go there and get Cheesesteaks and bring them back home.. services is good also the very clean and I like it because even the bathrooms are clean, which is a plus old tradition at home if the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is clean......... keep doing the same thing. I'll keep on going since I've been here for 5 1/2 years that's where my go to spot is............

As far as Philly cheese steaks go, this place is legit. Stopped by for the first time last week for lunch. My Philly cheese steak was good as were the fries. My only complaint is that there are not a lot of places to sit. It seemed like most people took their orders to go, those that stayed either sat outside or if they were lucky they found a spot to sit inside, but don't be surprised if the only option is one of the standing tables located in the middle of the seating area.

I used to live in ahwatukee which is in the neighborhood of this place, and took it for granted. Then moved to Cave Creek which is about 40 miles straight north.So I was in the neighborhood and thought I should stop by and see if it still as good as it used to be.Happy to report that the cheesesteak is great and love the sweet potato fries. You get to pick your meat, veggies and even sauce. PS if you get fries you get a drink free so what can you argue about that deal!

Best cheese steaks I've had in AZ....tell me there's a better one! Got the regular cheese steak, grilled onions, mushrooms and jalapeños. I opted for provolone cheese vs the Wizz this time. Both options are great! Side of fries with a tip: put a healthy portion of Tabasco in the ketchup cup THEN add the ketchup. Twist the fries in the concoction and it's delicious!

Been looking for a good cheesesteak place, and this place will do it. Always consistent. Great portions, they don't skimp on the meet and the bread is super soft and is good. Only thing I wish they did was more cheese. Maybe it's just me but I feel like there's little cheese so maybe ask for extra cheese when you order? Sweet potato fries are probably one of the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful when you get them. They've got some good dipping sauces to choose from though I've only tried the ranch and fry sauce. Both sauces are pretty good but it's not anything special from some other places. They've also got good topping choices. If I have friends or relatives from out of town I'll definitely be taking them here.

Excellent! So yummy and always so tasty! I'm from PA and they do the cheesesteak so perfect anawesome!! Always great customer service too!!! My sister was in this year twice from PA and she loves them too! She even took some home for herself, husband and a friend.
