If you're looking for a great evening to sip some wine and take care of some business, or even just meet up with some friends and have a glass or two quite frankly, this wine tap is amazing. Not only is the staff, friendly and courteous. They're also very knowledgeable and they know how to listen. If you tell them what you're looking for they can pair your desires with the best wine suited for you! They have a lovely assortment of food items to complement their vast array of wines, they even have a lavender mimosa that was phenomenal!

Lovely service and great vibes in here. We were able to taste a couple wines before choosing and the person working was very helpful and friendly. We had the place to ourselves and had a very cute and quaint corner to enjoy our wine. The carafe of Pinot noir was enough for about three wine glasses worth and was of great quality! If you have time, take a look at all the art around the store, such beautiful shots of local mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. Overall, a great quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine!

I am beyond ecstatic over Footprint Wine Tap on Capitol Hill. I have been wanting to check it out for several years since it opened. Like a good wine, time only allowed it to age to perfection. This business checks off all the boxes for me:- LGBTQ+, Black AND Asian-owned: Check!- Welcoming, warm ambiance with a variety of seating options: Check!- 30 unique drink options not only from sustainable kegs but also ranging from wine to cider to kombucha--there's something for everyone: Check!- All the beverages are produced locally, but also a couple are made by the owner himself: Check!- Service is always friendly and knowledgeable: Check!- They offer small bites that pair perfectly with their drink options: Check! Our crew began with wine tasting, to then by the glass pours, and then ended our night with cider. We all were particularly fond of the 2022 Pride Rosé, Grenache and Cherry Cider. It is no surprise that when I left it was standing room only.

I've been here twice now and it's fast becoming one of my top spots in Seattle! They have delicious wine (yes, originally I was suspicious of the idea of wine on tap but its honestly no different to wine by the bottle!). You can also purchase growlers to take home which a really reasonably priced. I highly recommend the flight - three wines of your choosing and the charcuterie! They were very accommodating when it came to my food intolerances, offering more meats instead of cheese and gluten free crackers. They are also gay, Black and locally owned! The first time I went there I met the owner who was lovely and seemed genuinely happy meeting customers! I highly recommend anyone visiting or living in Seattle to go here!

// SummarySmall and wonderful wine bar with a wide collection and a great staff!// ExperienceI ordered a wine flight, where you're able to choose three wines off the menu, each with a smaller pour. When they bring it out, they have a nice thing that they give along with the glasses that help you identify the wines. The wines that I had were great, as they seem to have a great selection on hand.// ServiceStaff were nice and friendly, helpful to make selections according to your palate. // AmbianceIt's a small wine bar with a couple of tables and some bar seating. They got some great art in there, reflective of some of the Seattle/WA scenery.// ConvenienceIt's in a busy part of the area, so there might not be easy parking.

I visited Footprint Wine Tap last weekend and had such a great time! Ken is such a great host and very knowledgeable about the different wines that are on tap. I thought the concept of reducing our carbon footprint with different ways to bottle wine was such an amazing idea. The environment was so relaxing. We stopped in before beginning our evening and just had a fantastic time. The charcuterie board and house made goat cheese spread is a must try! If you are looking for great wine, great snacks, and an engaging host, this is your spot!

The wine was great. The bartender was super nice even while being slammed and on his own. The neighborhood is very LGBT+ friendly, pride flags everywhere. Only reason for the 4 stars is the charcuterie board was only okay. But I would go back for drinks, just not food.
