My family and I love it here! Great food, staff are pleasant and it's such a beautiful environment full or flowers and greenery since it's next to a garden house. A must go to in Whidbey!

I love the ambiance of this place. It's worth it to come on a nice day and sit outside with all the flower baskets. Plenty of shaded areas. The food and drink could use some improvement. I ordered a lavender lemon Italian soda. It lacked flavor and carbonation. I also ordered the seasonal salad which is vegan and gluten free. The ingredients weren't very fresh and it lacked flavor. I wish they had more vegan and gluten free options. Most items are one or the other.

Are you looking for the coziest, most charming, delightful little breakfast spot ever? Then look no further than the Flower House Cafe. It's phenomenal. As you walk in, a fantastic aroma of coffee and pastries will fill your nostrils. The service was fantastic. Everyone was super cheerful and friendly. The food was probably a 4/5 star. But combined with the ambiance and service it's a 5. I got the breakfast burrito bowl. It was very good, but definitely needed a little salt and hot sauce. My wife got the chia pudding. It was quite good, but didn't have much chia pudding. Ha. So the toppings were good. The fresh squeezed OJ was . But overall I loved this place and would go out of my way to come back here. Might try something new. Tip: gluten free? Get the chocolate walnut cookie. It was AMAZING.

Cute cafe next to the Bayview Garden. It has both a beautiful indoor and outdoor area with all the plants. We bought a dog, so we sat outside. It was pretty rainy and windy when we went. The person behind the counter said she would turn on the heater outside for us, which she did and there was an enclosed outdoor seating area, so it blocked the windy nicely. The food was a bit pricey. The have standard coffee drinks with milk alternatives and flavors so you can tailor it to how you life. They had seasonal drinks, and I got a Cardamom and Rose latte, and the flavors came through with the spice and floral notes.

Wonderful food, beautiful flowers, and a warm sunny day make for a very enjoyable morning or afternoon. A local in Langley recommended that we check out the Flower House Cafe for lunch. It was a great idea! While the setting lacks the water view boasted by many restaurants on the island, they have nevertheless created a very nice ambiance with the beautiful flowers that surround the outdoor seating. Tables and everything was very clean, which can be a challenge in an outdoor setting - particularly considering our very cute lunch guests, small finch-like birds that kept us company but didn't make a nuisance of themselves. Did I mention, the flowers were beautiful.Indoor seating is also available and looked fine, but nothing special. Well maintained, casual dining. They'd had a rush right before we arrived and told us in advance that food could take up to 45 mins. However, drinks came out immediately and the food was ready in less than 20 minutes. We both ordered the cheeseburger, one with bacon, one with egg. Both were really, really good. The salad that came with consisted of very fresh greens and a nice house dressing. We also got a triple berry Italian soda that was also very nice. Having said that, several people seemed to be enjoying very large glasses of what I believe was fresh squeezed OJ (only $6! for a very large glass and it looked delicious). So - next time, it's time for the Orange Juice. They have a fairly lengthy beverage menu and baked goods that we didn't get into this time.Currently, they serve breakfast until noon and then lunch from noon to 3 pm. Like many shops and restaurants, they're somewhat on Island Time in terms of schedule.Last note - they are attached to a very nice plant nursery. Unless you're local, you're probably not planning on doing a lot of nursery shopping, but it makes for a very nice walk before or after if you enjoy plants.

I love Flower House Cafe! I came here a few years ago, and my friends and I liked it so much we came here twice during our weekend on Whidbey Island. I came again recently and still loved it. I love how the cafe is a part of a nursery/garden so you can walk around afterwards and check out all their plants, home decor, gift/souvenir items, etc. The cafe itself is super cute too. I wish there was a place like this in Seattle/ Bellevue! Anyway, Flower House Cafe serves both breakfast and lunch, pastries and drinks. You line up to order at the counter, then find a seat and your food gets brought out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. This most recent time I got the pumpkin pie chai (though I wanted to try all their seasonal drinks), and I think it was the best I've ever had. I thought about ordering another one to go because it was sooo good! haha and now I kinda regret not doing that! Food wise, portion size is decent and ingredients always seem really fresh. Add Flower House Cafe to your places to check out when visiting Whidbey Island!

Pulled over for a quick bite on a little road trip to the ferry. The ambiance of this place is my favorite part, there is a nursery next door which I love. The tuna sandwich was good, and I would get it again. I'm leaving it four stars because of the service. My friends ordered drinks and they never came and it was a whole thing to get a refund as we were leaving.

In our humble opinion, this is without a doubt the best breakfast place on Whidbey Island. The food is prepared fresh, the service is very quick, even when they are packed to the gills. We have only come for breakfast, but I can only imagine their lunch dishes are fantastic.

Flower House is such an adorable location on the south end of Whidbey Island. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Sometimes the line can be long on weekends so be prepared for that. As far as the food goes, I always order the avocado toast because it's that good. The pesto added on top adds such a fresh and light flavor. This time I tried adding an egg and I'm glad I did. It elevated this to the next level.
