Best bakery chain in Greater Boston by such a wide margin. It's so impressive to see how they've expanded without once sacrificing quality.Staff is always fantastic. The specials are original and top notch. Today, I went and tried their RI bakery pizza. Completely converted me. I've probably ate here or gotten coffee 20+ times in the last 2 years. Cannot recommend enough. Also, the owner, Joanna Chang, is literally Boston cooking royalty. Her mom invented the Peking Ravioli.

Exceptional food, pastries and drinks.highly recommend the rice krispie treat, the pecan bun, and the coconut cake. For drinks, I usually get iced coffeeI would skip the chai or matcha here and stick to the beans!I used to love their matcha seltzer drink but they dont have it anymore :(Flour used to have a very generous rewards program, lately it has been okay so still recommend joining but was more generous in the past

Flour has long been a part of our Boston food plans when we visit. We stumbled across this Cambridge location when we were eating nearby. I was lucky enough to get the last Sticky Bun, and it was great as always. We also bought two brownies. They were good. Seemed like maybe they had a bit of cinnamon. If not that, they had something that gave them a little different vibeService was good. The bakery was nice and clean.4.5 Stars

One of my favorite coffee shops in the Harvard Square area! Good coffee selection and delicious pastry selection when you arrive bright and early in the morning. I especially love the ham and cheese croissant and look forward to trying the sandwiches someday. They also offer self-ordering through a kiosk if you don't want to want in line. The cashier I had on both days that I visited wasn't the friendliest, but I can see how hard the kitchen staff are working to get orders out the door so I understand. Will be back!

Food was good BUT I had one of the rudest encounters with a member of their staff (the young woman I asked for a to-go cup) that I can remember. Probably will go to Tatte next time I'm in Harvard square.

Super cute bakery with awesome food. The staff was friendly and attentive. There were so many delicious looking pastries that it was hard to choose. I ended up picking the ham and cheese croissant. I got it warmed up. It was really good, but I would have liked it a bit warmer. I also got a breakfast tea, which was good.

I like that this place is a little tucked away, so it's not super busy with undergrads and tourists. It's just a short walk from Harvard Square, but really cute place to do work in the morning. The iced latte is great, strong but not bitter. Reasonable prices for coffee, too, for the area (less than $5 for an iced latte without the caramel I added). Interested in trying their baked goods next time.

Flour Bakery holds a special place in my heart, especially the South End location that was close to where I used to work. However, I now frequent the Harvard Square location and the quality of the food and pastries is the same. The app streamlined my regular orders, making the process quick and easy, and the rewards program added a delightful touch of fun. While I've yet to make it to Flour Flavorite, unlocking the Frequent Flour status has been an annual achievement I cherish.Pastries are a highlight, and the sticky bun is, without a doubt, is the staple. The breakfast sandwich has been a reliable go-to. Lately, my obsession is the hummus sandwich transformed into a salad with blackened chicken--an unexpectedly delicious twist that makes it a standout salad option. While coffee wasn't always my preference, the recent addition of the peppermint mocha has won me over. It's now a must-have during my visits. To top it all off, staff are always friendly and welcoming adding to the experience. Flour Bakery, with its fantastic pastries, versatile menu, and evolving coffee game, has become one of my favorite spots in Boston. Here's to many more Frequent Flour visits and, fingers crossed, a triumphant Flour Flavorite next year!

Delicious! Amazing selection of pastries, sandwiches and gluten-free goodies. Welcoming ambience, consistently great selection of rotating baked goods. Also has a nice selection of fresh-pressed juices.

I stopped in on a Wednesday morning for a mid morning break and got my tried and true favorite French Toast. The small $4 portion is a large slice of toast split into 2 and served with maple syrup. I also got an iced vanilla latte. I'm not a fan of their espresso on its own, I find it acidic, but the vanilla helps smooth and balance it out.Service is efficient, they bring your food and drinks to you when dining in. This is a great location to sit and do some work. Some of the seats get a lot of sun and would probably get really hot in the summer. But there are plenty of other seats not in direct sun.
