Flo's - New Asian Cuisine

I haven't eaten at flow's in over 16 years. I believe it was a different location. But the food is still as good as I remembered. The only complaint is they no longer served their house salad, which was my favorite. The dressing was delicious! I asked our server he said they have the dressing but no salad. He brought me some of the dressing but it wasn't the same one. We will be back again everyone enjoyed their food.We ordered Hot and sour soupMongolian beefKung pao chicken Veg chow mein (spicy) Everything was yummy Service was great as well Restaurant is nice and clean

Been going here for years. Vegetable rolls were over cooked and sauce was not the one we have liked for years.Orange chicken came out gooey and soggy. Don't know how this could be done other than a dead order recooked.Too many other orential restaurants for this, we won't be back.

Hard to believe a huge city like Phoenix/Scottsdale has really no decent Chinese food. The Flo's aScottsdale location is easily accessible and has nice decor. Service throughout the meal was attentive and spot on. And that's the end of the good part of the meal. Ordered pot stickers, Mongolian beef and chicken chow fun. I requested the pot stickers to be pan fried. The server stated that's how they come. Then how come they're soggy on the "non pan fried" side? Shouldn't they be pan fried on both sides? Tasted like they were from Costco. I can make them better in my air fryer. Mongolian beef...perfect spicing...and perfectly horrendous beef. It's 2024. Who uses so much meat tenderizer that the beef has the consistency of a sponge? Seriously. Zero texture...no chewiness...just sponginess. And just awful. That's not how beef should be at all. You need to chew it some. Not have it pre-digested on the platter. Same for the chicken in the chow fun, but just slightly less. There was some minimal firmness. But really not much taste and you know tenderizer was added. Listen ...management at Flo's...buy better grades of meat. Period. It makes your restaurant look cheap by skimping on the grade of meat you buy and having to tenderize it so much you don't even have to chew it. Needless to say we're not returning. And chalk up yet another failure in Chinese dining in the desert.

Seeing my previous post I want to dial back what I said. I was graciously greeted by the staff the next time I came in and service was A1 great. Try the five spice shrimp or if you in the mood for chicken with the same flavor go with the wings. Sorry about the confusion this place has been through a lot and I'm glad they are going strong!

It's been years, but finally found my way back to Flo's. Always one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Phoenix-area. Took my in-laws for the first time. They just moved from California and need a go to place for Chinese. They loved it. #DukeOfEats

Good ambiance, friendly employees, great food. O could tell it was a popular place because there a bunch of people waiting for it to open.The smells coming out of the place while we waited for our to open were mouth watering.My brother got the Chow Fun and I got the Thai Basil Chicken.

Delicious food and fast service! We went in on Sunday lunch. There are lots of people but their service is so fast and efficient. The hot and sour soup is so delicious. I like that the soup is heavy on sour and less on spicy and salty. The crab puff is tasty with my favorite red sauce. There are an option to choose lunch side or normal dinner side. We chose normal side and got some leftovers. The kang pao chicken is not spicy and they put black bean sauce in it. This is new for me but tasty. The cinnamon shrimp has interesting name. I can taste cinnamon in this sweet sauce. These two dishes go together very well, one is salty and one is sweet. The black hot tea is strong but comforting.

Oh my goodness! This place is peaceful and the food is so delicious. My guy friend introduced this beautiful restaurant to me. I've eaten there twice so far and I loved it. The chef, staff and owner are really nice. It's a professional and clean establishment that I highly recommend.

2.9/5. Ordered take out Mongolian beef. Sauce was pretty standard. Beef was a little too mushy and not a lot of wok hei at all. Green onions didn't seem the freshest and still had the root stalks on them. Just meh. Keep in mind I'm only talking about this particular dish I ordered. I've ordered from them in the past and was good.

Excellent Chinese food and service. Great to eat in or take out. We have been enjoying Flo's for many years and it's always great.
