Flo Paris

Short review given that I started to dig in before I got any pics!We got the Mille Feuille, Eclair, Apple Crumble Tarte all recommended by the server and they were EXCELLENT! Must return!

I'd had my eye on Flo Paris for a while, but time was of the essence during my recent visit. So it was a quick stop during a day of errands, but one I'd looked forward to sharing with my 90-year-old Dad.Our sweet tooth led us straight to the pastries, and we were intrigued by the cheesecake. Unfortunately, the front desk server or whomever greeted us seemed weary and less than enthusiastic about our inquiries.We decided on the cheesecake, but the interaction took an odd turn. She began to place our $6.00 treat into a chic white logo'ed box but suddenly switched to a plain brown box during our small talk. The spark of elegance was lost, and the service seemed to cool off, too. No smile, no friendly farewell--just the total for our dessert.Once home, the disappointment continued.The cheesecake crumbled and tasted more like whipped butter than the indulgent treat we had anticipated. After a few lackluster bites, we gave up on it.While our visit to Flo Paris was short and initially sweet, it left us with a bittersweet impression. Both the service and the cheesecake fell short of expectations, leaving me to wonder what could have been. Though this experience was a miss, I remain hopeful that future visits might live up to the charm and quality I had expected from all the reviews.

Loved how calming and quiet it was in here! Was able to do some work and talk with a friend,l. The food was good! Never had a savory crepe and only thing missing was more sauce. The desserts weren't super sweet (like Europe) and delicious tbh... I also got a coffee and it was good! Great experience

This is such a cute and quiet little bakery / cafe. Service is nice. Visited on two occasions and both treats were GOOD! Nutella croissant was really unique. Looked like a bowl! And it was so flaky and buttery. 10/10. The lemon meringue was also really good although I would prefer it colder. The one I had was really room temperature but over still great!

First things first this customer service was wonderful! Secondly the food, good lord the food, I had a honey lavender latte and it was perfection. The croissants are literal TEXAS sized and so delicious!! I ordered a quiche as well and all the baked and cold items were so well made. You can tell this bakery takes their French reputation serious! Defiantly worth a trip to come and enjoy the goods!!

You'd miss it if you don't know where to look- adorned with faux sunflowers, I'd recommend looking for their patio and corner spot signage. One of the only places in the city I can go and hear real French, I've been to this spot a million times, but recently I've noticed a few things: *it's usually very quiet...like no music to fill the space between conversation quiet *the owners seem to be working themselves to death. I suppose they're short on staff. They're often spotted taking orders, or offering to help take large purchases out to patrons cars, but all of this being said, I rarely receive my order in a timely fashion (which is alright with me. I'm not exactly the microwave culture type patron, BUT it's not the norm) *They do not offer alt milks when ordering coffee* In my year or two of patronage, I've had about 3 or 4 mix ups with my order. I'm pretty sure they gave me a regular coffee when ordering an Americano...ok, I know, I watched him pour it from the portable dripped coffee machine + the price I was charged was a $1 more than the price listed on their board. Additionally, when ordering a crepe with Nutella strawberries & hazelnuts I received one with Nutella, strawberries & almonds instead...twice. Apparently they no longer carry hazelnut but the individuals who took my order did not inform me. Additionally my crepe has been made incorrectly twice. On the plus side, they have amazing eclairs, and many of their pastries are delicious. I'm wishing them some extra support as I understand, when you're short staffed & over worked, things slip through the cracks.

Luv coming her for breakfast.We also get the sandhwiches and a croissant. Sometimes a dessert. Pick any, u can't go wrong.It's never a rush and busy. I like my peace and quiet and not social media swarmed places cause something looks cool but doesn't taste good. No wait! Luv it.

Checked out a French bakery off of Memorial called Flo's Paris Bakery. We tried several different pastries. The Pavolva was a layered pastry with whipped cream, white chocolate ganache, a mango purée, and meringue. I thought the meringue was nice & crunchy but the mango was too tart. The Nutella croissant came warm with a gooey filling. I'm not big on Nutella, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. We also had the Strawberry cream puff. The cream was really good but I felt the pastry was dry/not fresh so I just ate the cream off of it. We got two mini French macarons. The raspberry one was really good but it only a dot of raspberry so not nearly enough & the vanilla one was old so the shell was too hard & cracked. The place was clean & the staff was nice, but it was super hot in the store. We had to ask them to turn on the box fan Disclaimer: we did go there 1-1/2 hours before closing but sadly I won't return.

I really enjoy Flo Paris. I'm not really the type of person to go out of my way to bakeries. I just don't have a big sweet tooth. That being said, I've found myself at Flo Paris a few times. Typically, I've only ordered a coffee or other drink there but the last time I was there, I decided to try some of the baked goods. I was not disappointed at all. Everything was delightful and very delicious. It is sweet for sure but occasionally I will partake in the sweetness. On this particular trip, I tried the Opera, which is a chocolate bar of deliciousness. The strawberry cream puff, which is a creamy crumbly fruit covered cloud of sweetness and a berry covered cheesecake that was exceptionally well made and tasted great. I also ordered a matcha latte that was not bad. I like my matcha a little in the stronger side so I find myself becoming more critical on matcha lattes but this one was decent and presented very well. The great part about Flo Paris is the service and ambience. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a smile and the staff is very helpful in ordering. There's always a soft hum of conversation in the air as people enjoy a sweet treat and sip on a drink in this lovely decorated and quaint cafe.

Quick breakfast on the patio prior to hair appointment Apple croissant was freshly baked and still warm and my oat cap Lavazza was good.Recommended if you are in the area.
