FLO Japanese Sushi Restaurant & Sake Bar

This was a recommendation from a co-worker, my kid loved it. Great selection, service is good too. The sake flights are good. The server was very informed and knowledgeable about the menu and the sakes. Definitely a place we will come back to.Ambiance seemed nice and peaceful. Parking can be a hassle.

I think that their cold and hot plates are what to go for. The tempura calamari was really good and I like the ahi tuna and avocado salad. We got a sushi roll and the 8 piece sushi combination. The sushi was really underwhelming and honestly wouldn't get sushi here again. But like I said before I think their cold and hot plates are the things to check out. The dessert was decent banana tempura I believe and ice cream. Make a reservation before coming.

The best hamachi carpaccio. Omg! It took a little bit for someone to come by to help us, but she apologized for the wait and was great from that point on. Edamame was perfect. Rolls were so fresh. Nice quiet environment. I would go back for sure!

Polite service. Traditional menu. Tamago Egg dish was watery, like the fluffiness looks cool but the flavor lacked. Can't complain about the sushi, it was fresh. The salads were good. The seaweed salad was interesting and delicious and the beef appetizer was tasty. Could have been more to the drink menu but I don't expect much from a traditional sushi place. I think this place would do better with an updated menu and a little more edginess to the dishes. The Black Cod and the Gomae were done well. The decor was non-offensive, traditional and forgettable. Appreciated the offer of a free ice cream for our celebration.

Nice little sushi restaurant in Bellevue, a little more formal seating for a sit down dinner in the quiet dining area. We started with agedashi tofu and sake, which was excellent. We then had the Chirashi which was very tasty with high quality salmon, tuna, shrimp, yellowtail, and other delicacies. Service was very attentive. All in all, a good experience.

Sashimi platter was okay. Uni was definitely on the cheaper end as it tasted very bitter and funky. Service was subpar as the waiters and waitresses give you an eye for wanting a different table for seating.

Went here for a friends birthday dinner.Food was amazing and wonderful quality.The tempura calamari is so delicious and lightly breaded. It had a side of black pepper.The seaweed salad was unique and refreshing. I didn't love all of them but there are a variety of different types of seaweed. The red dragon roll was good! The black cod is very delicious and tasty. Everything on the dinner menu is pretty much Ala Carte.Service was great. The waitress was so nice and helpful! Hoping to come back!

My favorite sushi destination in Bellevue. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Sushi is beyond fresh and amazing. When something is off, they quickly replace it with a great smile/attitude. I won't stop coming here, green tea is beyond amazing. You must try it.

I used to frequent FLO numerous times a month before COVID. I was excited to visit again last Friday evening and I made a reservation to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. A group walked in ahead of us without a reservation and we're seated in a corner table. Even with our reservation, we were offered a table in the middle of the room. When I asked for table not in the middle of the room, the person controlling the seating told me that I should have asked for this in the notes when I made reservation. Hmmmmm, thanks for putting this on me. If you want to be charge upper-end prices, that comes with expectations. I don't think it is appropriate to be given a table located in the middle of the room with wait staff moving past the whole evening. Instead of me managing how you seat, I'll just go to another restaurant that understands this. The food quality has slipped too. The sashimi was was sooo cold that it was like putting a chunk of ice in our mouths. The sushi pieces were good but not exceptional. Considering that the evening was north of $300 for two people without alcohol, there are much better options available. Sorry FLO but I won't be back because of the combo of unacceptable service and the pricing. It's not worth it.

As far as sushi options at this price point go in Bellevue this is a great spot. I prefer this to japonessa or kobe around the same price point. High quality rolls - ordered spider, unagi, and spicy hamachi, all very good and well rolled. Would order all 3 again. It's not top tier sushi and isn't priced like it, I found a lot of value at the price point.
