As much as I was looking forward to trying out Flavour Bistro, this was not a dining experience I will remember fondly. To start off, it's important to specify that we visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning for brunch. I cannot speak to what the dinner experience is like here, so this review is specifically regarding their weekend brunch offerings. The ambiance of this restaurant felt like an upscale Italian spot, which seemed more appropriate for dinner rather than brunch. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant, so we were seated immediately without a reservation. Despite this, we waited over an hour for our food, even though we were one of only two tables in the entire restaurant. This was definitely surprising, but it's possible they were slightly understaffed. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, and she even apologized for the delay in receiving our food.Onto the food: I wish I had more pleasant things to say about their brunch menu offerings. Our group ordered the Smoked Salmon Hash (GF), the Buttermilk Pancakes, the Biscuits and Gravy, and The Duvall Breakfast. Unfortunately, none of these meals were very good. My meal, the Smoked Salmon Hash (GF), was incredibly over-seasoned. The salmon itself was not smoked, but instead cooked, and the portion of salmon was much less than expected. Out of the four dishes we ordered, the favorite was the Buttermilk Pancakes. The flavor of the pancakes was delicious, and the amaretto-maple syrup paired incredibly well. However, the pancakes arrived completely burnt; they were entirely black on both sides. As someone who loves brunch, this was an incredibly disappointing meal. I'd be open to revisiting Flavour Bistro to try out their dinner, but there are better brunch places in the area.

Took my partner to dinner for her birthday. She ordered the ribeye steak with Caribbean mango mashed potatoes. The steak was heavily salted, but the accompanied mashed potatoes were salted beyond all reason .. salt on steroids. For dessert we ordered the bananas foster and the apple dessert. Both come with vanilla gelato. We could hear the kitchen ring that our dessert was ready while the server gabbed with the only other table in the restaurant. Finally the kitchen hit the bell multiple times and finally got his attention. He 'Promptly' delivered our two desserts will fully melted gelato on top.I see the previous ''glowing" reviews on Yelp. After tonight, I can't understand what's going on. Either bad reviews are 'scoured' after the owner pays a premium to Yelp for that service or .....You've been warned. Thanks for reading.

I feel bad giving 1 star but I can't recall the last time I had a worse experience in a restaurant. We first went here over a year ago for dinner and it was slow service and mediocre food, we sat on the balcony which really had sad vibes, some unknown source of water dripping from overhead and really cold atmosphere inside the restaurant. The decision to market as fine dining really didn't hold up. We put it down to just a bad night and figured we would try again. Fast forward to over a year later and we went for brunch, which we figured was a hard meal to get wrong. There was just 2 other tables occupied, so it wasn't busy. Our order took a very long time to come out, but I wouldn't have cared about that if it wasn't bad food. 3 pancake stack - 1 cooked correctly then other 2 burned. Potatoes salted to the extent that it tasted like my month allowance of salt in one dish. They tried to make right on the seasoning issue but the other meals were problematic too. Shrimp po boy was basically a toasted bun with cold shrimp and too much sauce (no french baguette as listed on the menu). Eggs benedict with very burned english muffins and ham (which wasn't listed on the menu - a problem since we are pescatarian). They took the po boy off the bill but really we sat around for well over an hour to have burned pancakes and way over salted potatoes. The server made coffee that was nice. The restaurant was also freezing cold, it was a relief to step outside after. Duvall needs another dining option and I wish this was it, it's not.

The menu seems to change from time to time but the food I can say is delicious. In a short drive if you are the north end or eastside you will find a city named Duvall. The drink list is excellent and they have a new bar that looks posh. The dinner prices are a little on the spendy side but for two we shared everything and it was 5 course meal with drinks and wine, which worked for an evening out. For a starter we had the lobster bisque it was really good with very creative looking dish and tasty. Brandy and cream, some crème fraiche. The second dish was mouth watering epic beet salad. Crisp and refreshing the team did great on presentation of every dish. The appetizer was the scallops which are in an onion purée with cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. My friend and I enjoyed the duck for our main course and amazing! I am not going to do it justice but the duck was perfectly done. Slightly crisp skin but the luscious fat, lovely texture, with this slightly sweet sauce. Perfecto! For the finale the triple chocolate mousse cake. It was a phenomenal. Everything was amazing.

Truly an exquisite dining experience from the lovely folks here. We shared the appetizers and desserts and couldn't help but steal bites from each others entrees. That said each one of us completely satisfied with the delightful meal. Each appetizer seasoned perfectly, from the beet salad to perfectly prepared scallops.. don't pass the bacon! Mushroom risotto was divine, mahi mahi tasted tropical, and the ribeye .. delicious and so tender. Can't skip dessert which had to be shared, creme brûlée cheesecake and the lava cake. Be sure to have French press coffee with creme. Cannot wait to come again. Won't wait for an occasion.. Saturday just became one if I had to. Thank you friends!!

Chef Clive and his staff bring high end dining to our small town of Duvall. Everything on the menu is great and he rotates his offerings often enough that the menu is never stale. Great service matched with impeccable cuisine every time we visit. A must visit if in the Snoqualmie Valley!!

Tried brunch here for the first time last week. We got there at 10 and took forever to order and didn't get food until nearly 11. This place is 5 star on social media posts but the food is not as good as it looks and definitely not worth the prices they are charging. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back and Ranging River in Fall city does way better on breakfast!

Okay, 5 stars because the food and service were amazing. The bartender was excellent and made not only our alcohol drinks but fresh lemonade for our kid as well (which was amazing) There are some cons, but it does not affect my stars in any way. Be prepared for wait time, super fresh food and I think only one cook (main chrf/owner)Pros-best beet salad I have ever had. The lamb rack was amazing with amazing polenta cake. The steak flavor was great. Love me the jerk seasoning.Happy and relieved there IS A KIDS MENU our son inhaled the fries and ate most of the chicken strips.Cons- potatoes and steak were on the salty side a little, but it was still amazing. Steak was thin but cooked perfectly. The side that came with the lamb was a little salty as well, which consisted of spinach and white beans. I would definitely come here to try their other menu items.I know for sure I'll be getting the beet salad again.

Had an excellent meal tonight at Flavour Bistro- so nice to have an outstanding Sophisticated Restaurant near by- nice not to have to fight traffic! Our service was very good & the meal was superb. Started with the Beet Salad & and order of the Grilled Scallops, then on to an amazingly seasoned ribeye & Caribbean mashed potatoes- done to perfection! We ended with Pistachio gelato and that too was way above average! This establishment has an extensive wine list too- For a special night out or if you are craving something wonderful & a bit out of the ordinary- I highly recommend Flavour Bistro- you will definitely enjoy!
