Food - the papad and mango chutney that they give at the beginning impressed me! Papad was so crispy!! They have a tandoor and their naans are crazy good - especially garlic naan. Chicken tikka was great, wish it had little more chicken. Biryani is zafrani / Mughali style and North Indian folks will like it. Don't expect dum biryani. Also ordered gajar halwa that tasted like home cooked - very tasty! The ambiance is cozy and intimate. Lastly, the service was very warm. Such an important part of the experience and I'm glad we got only positive vibes :)Keep up the good work!

Love how crispy the bottom of their garlic nan is! Empty so was pleasantly surprised at our nice lunch in the heart of Issaquah Highlands town center. Nice service checking in on us a few times. Lamb Saag small pieces of lamb was well distributed in the saag (rather than the typical chunks) was excellent $23 4.5*Goat Curry (bone-in) nice gentle flavor. $27 4.5*Chicken Boti Kabab mild tasting grilled chicken chunks comes with rice and veg medley. (Ended up dipping pieces in the goat curry sauce for more flavor.) $22 3*Garlic Naan excellent and tasted just made $5 5*Chai Tea mild & unsweetened so tasted of barely flavored milk. $5 2*Located-in the NW corner of NE Park Dr & 10th Ave NE-across from Ben & Jerry's-1 block east of Regal Theatre & Danjj Korean restaurant

This is one of the newest restaurants in the Issaquah Highlands as it recently took the place of Big Fish Grill. My friend and I came here for a Saturday lunch based on her recommendation. We arrived at noon and surprisingly were the only customers dining in. They have a large main dining area, a seemingly private section, large bar area and a nice patio. About half of the patio is completely shaded and the tables along the balcony had umbrellas. I'm not sure if lunchtime on Saturdays are usually slow for them, but we ended up having the whole patio to ourselves for the entire time. The menu has a good selection of meat and vegetarian options. They also have Tandoori plates which sound like individual meals, but the two of us opted for a couple dishes to share. Once we ordered, our waitress brought out a complimentary appetizer of papadum & mango chutney which was a delicious starter. The papadum was so crispy, like a very thin cracker. We broke it into pieces and dipped it in the chutney which was chunky and sweet with a spiced kick. A few minutes later, our food arrived! + COCONUT CHICKEN CURRY ($19): Meaty pieces of chicken simmered in a coconut milk and tomato-based sauce. The sauce was creamy, but a little sweeter than expected. Not that this was a bad thing, but the curry flavor needed more oomph. Regardless, I still mopped it up with some naan. While the chicken was nice and tender, that's really all that was in the curry. I found two slivers of zucchini, but that was it; I would have liked to see more vegetables included. + DAAL MAKHANI ($17): Whole black lentils and red kidney beans slow-cooked in a signature sauce with spices and butter. I didn't know what to expect of the dish, but it was substantial, rich and filling. I wouldn't consider it super bold in flavor, but it must have had a variety of herbs to give it its green color. + GARLIC NAAN ($5): This was delicious, super garlicky and brushed with butter! It was light and had a crispy bottom. I appreciated how it wasn't too thick nor doughy. + MANGO LASSI ($6): So refreshing and the perfect consistency. It had a bright ripe mango flavor and wasn't too sweet.About halfway into our lunch, a gentleman (who we believe is the owner) stopped by and asked how everything was. He was so personable and I could really sense the passion and dedication he puts into the restaurant. He brought us an extra bowl of rice during lunch and one more for us to take home with our leftovers. This was so generous of him! Our server was also super kind and checked on us a couple times. You can tell that customer service is one of their top priorities.I would definitely return again to try their biryani and tandoori plates. We ordered the two dishes above at a 1 on the spice scale, but next time, I would opt for at least a 2 for a little heat. 4.25 stars.

Average food. Tried the butter chicken (small chicken bites), saag paneer, rice, naan (not garlic or aloo), vegetarian dish, and kebob type of meat. Nice interior and easy parking.

Everything we've tried so far (we've tried their food 2x) - Salmon Tandoori, Samosa Chaat, Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, Basil Pesto & Jalapeño naan, mango lassi, chai tea - tasted ah-mazing!!! The restaurant seemed clean and had a family oriented vibe. Service was quick. Serving size was good. It's my new favourite Indian restaurant!!!

I came here not really sure what to expect as I hadn't eaten any Indian food in Washington yet. The decor inside is really nice, the lady and man who I'm guessing are husband and wife and run the place are very nice and sweet. We ordered the Naan, and tbh I have to say that it's the new standard bearer for naan going forward for me. Not only that but the "Indian chips and salsa" which was a thin crispy fried flatbread with an apricot? dip I forget the name of the flatbread appetizer but the dip was so good I couldn't stop eating it. I got the curry and it was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

We liked eating in the sophisticated bar setting. The Chicken Tikka Maslla was the best in the Northwest and the Butter Chicken was just as good! The naan was fresh from the oven and just perfect. Added to the great food was the impeccable service. Very quiet with few other diners. If they put some effort into their website it would draw more people. We will definitely make it a fav !RichardSammamish
