Just ate at Five Spice for the first time. Had a bit of sticker shock on prices ($10 for pot stickers?? Okay, maybe I'm out of touch ) BUT the food was so DELICIOUS!!! Have to eat all the things when eating Asian food. Sooooo... we ordered the egg drop soup, the hubaroo got the hot & sour soup. Both were REALLY good!! The egg drop was flavorful and so velvety. The hot & sour soup had a nice balance between heat and sourness. We also ordered the egg rolls and pot stickers. The egg rolls were nice and crispy with a generous amount of meat and just enough peanut along with the veg. The pot stickers were HUH-YOOGE!! Crispy on one side and tender everywhere else. A generous amount of meat mixture. Maybe a bit greasy but I don't mind the grease. I'm a fiend for chili oil and theirs were flavorful and nicely hot. Their hot mustard was not one of those packets of bright yellow, mustard. I think it must be homemade. A nice amount of horseradish to thoroughly clear the sinuses The sweet and sour sauce also appeared to be homemade and was not overpoweringly sweet. For our mains, I got the chicken garlic, scallion, & rice stone bowl. LOVED the garlic but I would've liked a bit more sauce. It was cool how the rice sizzled. I liked the texture. Hubaroo got the dry chili chicken. Oh. My. LANTA!!! That chicken was fried crispy and seasoned so well -- with what tasted like a bit of, I dunno... curry? Just a tiny bit that it's like whisper and the perfect amount of salt on the back end. Chilis bring the heat-- not too hot either. Just right. I had the hot tea and hub had diet coke. In a can. I'm never a fan of that. I so prefer fountain soda but it wasn't my drink so, whatevs. Our bellies are full, taste buds happy, and now we need a nap ha ha!!Give this place a go. Yeah, a bit pricey but very worth it!

Came here for a quick dinner and I can tell they lowered the quantities on my 2 favorite dishes. Quality- same quality which is good. The food is still delicious. Quantity- the fish is about 2/3 the size of the one I got last month. It was a bit upsetting since the price is the same. Atmosphere- good, no changeService- good, no change

Nice environment for small gathering. Kids suitable. They also have a small space for group gathering or just sit down for a drink separate from the main dinning room. Also a patio area for a nice day!

Great location off the main road. Parking is plentiful!I ordered ahead via telephone, old school :-)They gave me a time and when I arrived I was greeted and the food was brought out to me in less than 2 minutes. The take out bag was packed very well, the staff was friendly and very hospitable.Inside looks very clean and sanitary, seemed very busy during the lunch rush hour but it seemed like there were still seats available.Had to drive 10 minutes back to work to eat the food and it was still very hot. Provided napkins and cutlery, great presentation and the food was very flavorful. I will definitely come back again!

Very nice lunch specials. Good prices.Good serviceHot & Sour soup is too thick with corn starch and too thin with flavor. I've definitely had better.Egg roll was good and the hot mustard truly hot!I had the kung pao shrimp lunch special. Fried rice was nice. I asked for spicy but kung pao was only mild. Kung pao had plenty of shrimp and a great mix of vegetables. Sauce was too heavy. Taste was fine but it should have been 20% less sauce.Building seems nice and clean, looks newI will go back but it's not exceptional.

I heard a lot about how this restaurant is a rebranding of Silver Lake Chinese food. They did have w a Silver Lake menu and one of the staffers said it's a rebranding of Silver Lake, so I guess it's true. It's significantly more upscale than Silver Lake but the people are just as nice. Personally, I think the food is better. I was happy my husband suggested we try it. I love the updated decor. Very chic. If you liked the old Silver Lake, this is a sure bet.

Amazing food with toonsss of options. So tasty, definitely recommend the kimchi fried rice, ramen, gyoza, and Malaysian steak rice! The workers are so kind and very welcoming. Boba is not the best but good enough, just depends what you get. Atmosphere is cute, I love how the boba and restaurant are separate yet you can still order right at the table.

so bad. I ordered bang bang shrimp because I was craving it, because it was so good at the Ramon place and this was the only place near me. I could find that had it, but it was disappointing. When was $20 I know it's flavorless. I didn't even finish eating said I would not come back here but yet again, I wanted Ramen because I was craving it, and this was the only place close and it was an utter disappointment. The broth was not good. The noodles are undercooked. They only gave you two pieces of pork. If you're going to charge that much, the food better be darn good, but it's not, I also got the black pepper honey garlic beef it was OK but very sweet and if it's sweet to me then it's probably too sweet for most people because I love you sweet. ill stick with TLs four season for my beef. and ramen places for my ramen and bang bang shrimp. The food not only does not live up to expectations, but it's not even good and the worst part is this place is more expensive than any of the competitors. even the bubble tea is nothing special. I live a block away but I don't want to go here for anything anymore.

Vegan ramen was full of flavor, added scallions and mushrooms. Also tried the veggie spring rolls as suggested by staff and am in love with them. The filling is delightful and no sauce is needed. But that sauce...it was like a little cup full of sunshine. Bright and fresh, I could have drank an entire glass of it! Only problem was my chopstick pack only had one chopstick (takeaway). A minor inconvenience for a beautiful meal. Definitely did not stop me from enjoying every last bite.
