Five Guys is known for that delicious and copious amounts of fries with generous "top off". Not at this place. We got regular fries and received half the amount we would expect. See the pictures.

If you have been to one Five Guys, you have been to them all. I love the concept of paying one price and being able to put as many toppings on as you want, especially because it is a generous list of toppings! For $10 for a burger, you really can't beat that! BUT, when you add in the $5 fries, I am not sure it is quite a deal any more (with tax, it ends up being $18 so for a few dollars more, you might as well go to a sit-down restaurant and get a really nice burger and fries). The burgers are nicely done (never frozen and made fresh daily) and a nice portion. The fries are made in peanut oil which is supposedly good for cholesterol. I think it must be the fries that are extremely greasy because when you get it to go (or have leftovers), the grease is seeping through the brown paper bag. Their were not any gluten-free options so I wasn't able to eat there, but my family was and they enjoyed the food. The restaurant was really clean. The bathroom was really clean which I think is always a reflection of the restaurant's overall cleanliness. Overall, it is a good place if you want a burger and are starving so need it fast or need something quick to go...or need something late once the restaurants have closed since they are open until 11pm. For the money, if you have more time, I would recommend a sit-down restaurant to get a more deluxe burger and fries since you'd only need to pay a few dollars more.

Disclaimer: judging it against other chains, not as a restaurant in generalThis Five Guys is just outside Redmond Town Center. They have a pretty spacious seating area and indoor dining is allowed. I'd say the service was pretty quick, and they seemed to be pretty clean as well. The food, perhaps as expected, was dripping with grease (which turned out to be a poor choice for me, but that's not their fault- Five Guys is known for the soaked-brown-bag quality of their food). I ordered the Little Cheeseburger, which was very much a regular sized cheeseburger at other fast food establishments, and a Little Fries, which was the cup they showed x2, because they dumped as many extra fries into the bag directly as were in the cup to start with. They're happy to provide a cup for water if you need one, as well as utensils. The restrooms were quite roomy, only two available. Overall a decent fast food joint. I wouldn't say anything was stellar, but it was solid for what they serve.

Mixed feelings....I will provide two part review: 1) Food Quality 2) Service.1) Food Quality - I am not a "hamburguer" person. It is not my food of choice and a crave eating one just every two or three months. My family (one of my daughters and husband) are super fan of Five Guys hamburguer & milk shakes. Between store pick up and Door Dash I say we have an average of 2-3 orders per week (food + milkshakes). My other daughter tags along for the milkshake only. The fries are not a big hit with them all the time. It is inconsistent. Sometimes they like it, sometimes it is little soggy and very oily. From observing how it is made, I think it is because they pre-fry them and do a quick dip on the hot oil when close to serve, to make them look like fresh fried. Overall, Five Guys is great on the food based on family's feedback. I personally eat my one hamburger every 2/3 months and used to enjoy it there, until the recent experiences outlined in part 2.2) Service - has room for improvement. As stated above, I sporadically eat a hamburger, but when I order one,, I am really looking forward to enjoying it as I like it - with all the toppings of my choice. Early in the summer, I did order one (with the order for my family) and picked it up myself from the store - that is 13-20 min. drive from my house, depending on traffic conditions. When I got home, sad surprise. My sandwich was not what I ordered, missing the cheese and jalapenos. One of the other sandwiches was also wrong. I called the store to let them know and I was offered a replacement. I politely declined as I would not drive back just to pick up a hamburger. The person on the line offered me to come any other day and they would provide me with a make it right sandwich. Few weeks later, I was in the store with my family and remembered the offer. So as I paid, I mentioned I should have noted somewhere that there was a hamburguer + milkshake credit on my name. The person processing said he had no idea how to find that, but he could call the manager if I had sometime as he also needed to finish processing others. I thanked him and paid the full order as did not have much time to spare. Never got my "credit" of a burguer and milkshake that was offered. I moved on and forgot the make it right offer. Then, 2 weeks ago - more precisely Sept 17th, I stopped at the store and order a sandwich for me and my daughter plus a milkshake for her. As a reminder, I rarely eat one, and it was my treat! Once we got home and sat to eat.... disappointment! The messed up my and hers order completely! It seems that they actually gave us a wrong order! Not only missing the topping we asked (mine missing cheese, bacon and onions), but also included things we dont like - ketchup for mine and mayo on hers. I was upset - called the store to let them know. I DID NOT ASK for a refund or any other compensation. And explained I would not go back as I dont live close by - just wanted to make sure they are aware of the mistake (again). The gentleman offered (again) to replace my order anytime I can come back. I told him that this happened before, and this type of make right does not work - and it is embarrassing mentioning it at the store and people having no clue on what you are talking about. To what he assured me he would have it "in the system" so whenever I come back, I just need mention the day of my order. That brings us to TODAY. I stopped by with my daughter on our way back from an appointment and she asked for a hamburguer. I decided this would be an opportunity to redeem my replacement!! I talked to the gentleman on the front, that asked me for many things, including the receipt (that of course I don't have as I don't save them). I did have a picture of the order slip that I eventually found on my phone and showed him. He may not have had the intention, but he made me feel like I was making up something to get a free meal. He even asked me if I was sure the order was on that store :|. Seriously??? I told him about the previous failed "make it right" and that I was not asking for it not because of the monetary value, but principal. He took notes of my order and told he would make it at no charge - I explicitly told him also that I wanted to pay for the fries and shake as it came right on the previous order in question. He kindly offered to include also at no cost. After that - staff was talking about the situation out load in Spanish - that I dont speak but can understand - and it made me quite uncomfortable as I waited in the store. Once we got the order I decided not eat there but eat it at home. Ironically, and because I refuse to think they would make it on purpose.... they missed the bacon on my sandwich! LOL. No calling again. I am sure not eating another hamburguer any time soon. My family will probably still buy from them, but I will influence that choice much less if in my power . :)

Each time I come here, a single serving of "large" fries is astonishing, practically a full bag's worth. Burgers are just as amazing with its fill of toppings and juicy beef patties. We usually get our fix of:- Little Bacon Cheeseburger ($10.19)- Large Fry ($7.79)- Oreo Cookies Milkshake ($6.29)The wait for food typically is only a few minutes at most, but there are complimentary roasted peanuts to easily pass the time. Staff here is quite friendly. Parking is available both at the front and back.

As a regular customer I have to say I just had my last Redmond Five Guys burger!I'm confused how they have served me so many good cheeseburgers and today was so different.I've not had a burnt bun come out of their kitchen (rock hard and snapped in half) then told, "that's how we do it here".They made another burger, but guess what?! It was sloppy and disgusting for some weird reason. It's always the case when you have to ask for it to be normal, they send out a worse meal. This was way worse. I'm done spending $25 on a simple burger and fry at this location. No service and a bad meal. Get it together Redmond crew!

I'm not sure why people gave them a negative review because they seriously have the best burgers in town. Crispy on the edges, meaty on the inside, the cheese is all melty - it's perfect. The fries are just salty enough. Even the hot dog (served open face) was delicious! But what impressed me the most is that every time someone walked in - everyone behind the counter greeted them like an old friend. The staff is so friendly and accommodating!I have definitely found my new favorite burger place!
