First time in Nashville and I heard a lot about Five Daughters Bakery so I was excited to try it. The decor is really pretty and the shop is clean. Unfortunately, I tried the Mini Cinnamon Purist and it was underwhelming. It did not taste fresh. They claim to have croissant style donuts but it was not flaky like a croissant. Maybe I should've tried more of their options. If I return to Nashville, I will try to visit Five Daughters early when they open so I can see if the donuts are fresh or not.

Price: $Pastry: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5I have been researching for the best dessert in months before coming to Nashville for the CMA Fest. Many articles that I found point out one bakery, which is the Five Daughters Bakery that known to have perfected their craft in making cronut (croissant donut). The shop was located on the 2nd floor near the food court. There is an escalator that take you directly to the shop near Ariat store. I was surpise to find that not many people were in line when we got there. The staff greeted us promply and gave us a brief description of what first timers should choose. I'm glad that we had an assortment of her suggestion as well as our own pick. I remembered the Lemon cake donut was everyone favorite, which I highly recommend. Unfortunately, I cannot remember every single donut that we got. However, I assured you that everything was delightful and not to sweet, which I love. Each donut have their own unique flavor and flakey due to its ingredients. I would highly recommend my fellow sweet tooth to visit Five Daughters as one the place to visit in your itinerary.

I was visiting Nashville and we wanted to get a fun dessert after dinner. Five Daughters was a heavily recommended spot when researching things to do and I was so excited to try these dense donuts! We went at the end of the day but they still had quite a selection and my nieces got so excited to learn they could have the last mini donut when ordering the second to last one. The staff working at this location were so friendly and I loved all of the pink decor inside. This is an awesome bakery!

Oh my gosh, this would be the most decadent and pleasurable way to get diabetes!I was in town for work, and a friend of mine from my hometown knew I was going to be in Nashville. He insisted I hit the Five Daughters Bakery for a donut! I'm so glad I did!The place is super cute, and it's the perfect building for the business they have. The inside is girly-bakery quaint and has a nice flow, and while it was almost empty when I was there, I can imagine it can be jam-packed on a morning or on a Saturday and that's why they have no tables inside. You have to eat outside.Five Daughters Donuts make Stan's Donuts in Chicago look like Dunkin' Donuts. The quality of these donuts, the freshness, the fluffiness, and flavor were all to die for. And the prices, while worth it, will kill you before the diabetes does!I had a cup of coffee and it was decent albeit nothing special, but it washed down the five million grams of saturated fat and sugar. The truth is my donuts were so very good, I didn't want the flavor to go away. There's plenty of parking in the back, and even a playground for children next to the outdoor patio tables.

My husband and I walked in here 20 mins before closing and ordered a few donuts and ended up with some bonus donuts too... We have to say that those donuts were still tasting pretty fresh and were so light and airy... I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something sweet. These donuts had the right amount of sweetness and the prices are very reasonable as well.... Lastly, the service was great! Thank you for your suggestions and for the extra treats!

This was our second trip to this Nashville chain bakery during our trip, the lemon ice box donut was one of the best items I've ever tasted either the fresh lemon curd in the middle. All of their pastries so neatly displayed are like mini works of art. This location is on the heart of Broadway, close to the honkey tonks. I would have loved to try more things but the price point of the items was not conducive to doing so. I will just take everyone's word that everything is delicious!

Oh. My. Word. What fantastic, flakey layered donuts! I had the carrot cake and a gluten free chocolate sun butter. (Don't judge , it was lunch )The gluten free was very moist and not overly sweet. The carrot cake was just simply wonderful. Hubby had the Boston Crème and a chocolate chip cookie, which he loved both. I did taste the cookie and it was a great balance of a little salty and sweet. Try it when in Nashville!

Love finding new local bakeries during travels. Found this one that I believe is local to TN. Tried their seasonal blueberry lavender and it was divine. Look at the fluffy croissant layers! Personally one donut was too large for me but if you normally eat a whole, go for the regular size. Or go with minis for multiple flavors!Their location at Assembly Hall is on the top floor outside an open corridor. We brought our food back indoors to enjoy with seating.

Unfortunately Five Daughters Bakery doesn't seem to be worth the hype. I have a personal superstition against ordering raised donuts in humid weather because they never seem to come out right. This donut did nothing to disprove my superstition. I wanted to try the 100 layer donut that they're famous for, which run about $5.25 each. I got one with vanilla cream filling and frosting. I will say the flavor was not too sweet with a good amount of saltiness. Unfortunately the texture was horrible. The whole donut was sweaty and soggy and damp. The croissant layers are visible, but have no integrity. There was no crispiness at all to tell me the donut had been fried and rolled in sugar. I came around 1-2pm so it's possible the donuts would taste fresher in the morning? The ladies working here were super friendly and helpful so I appreciate that. This store was absolutely deserted and I can see why. Unfortunately I would skip this spot and get a sweet treat at Jeni's downstairs.
