The best kept secret in Little Italy. The food is great, original and the service is attentive. Very good "happy hour" menu with great atmosphere. Excellent place to watch a game or meet with friends. One of my favorites!

Absolutely love the lighting inside and the ambience it provides! Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and super friendly and helpful as well!!!Seafood rice included a couple mussels, clams, octopus, fish, and shrimp. Loved everything although shrimp was a little overcooked and tough and rice is not as flavorful...Shrimp taco was tough and mostly sauce, it overpowered shrimp. Fish taco was also overpowered by the sauce, "couldn't even taste the fish"Our drinks were yummy though! We want to come back for happy hour for sure $1 oyster steal

First time at Fishers on Saturday. The restaurant is beautiful and modern decor. The waiter was very nice and service was perfect. You are welcomed with a fresh hot consume when you are seated. Very flavorful and delicious. The reason the 3 stars is because the menu was incomplete and taste was lacking. First, I was very eager to try one of their many octopus dishes. Unfortunately, they had no octopus available. Disappointing. We tried the squid ink shrimp appetizer. It was unique, good tasting, but nothing I would order again. The dish comes with tortillas to eat to eat with it. However the pacer only has about three small ones which was not enough to consume the appetizer with others. When I asked for a few more, they were brought quickly, but we were charged for them.We ordered Ceviche and Aguachile. Normally these dishes are paired with tostadas. They did not come with the dish. The seabass was lacking in flavor. On another plus, they have a creative cocktail menu which was very good.

I had heard good things about this place, so I'm hoping it was an off night. I went for a private birthday dinner on a slow night. However the place could have been bubbling in madness because it wasn't until about 20 mins after I arrived (my counterparts already had cocktails when I arrived 5 mins late of the reservation time) that I was able to order a cocktail that quite possibly had zero Mezcal. The service from there was downhill. Although we were invited to join there was a private event happening in the middle of the restaurant it just made what was supposed to be a private intimate birthday dinner almost awkward. Dinner was just ok. The grilled sea bass was great, however the calamari appetizer could really use some looking at, for how basic this item can be, it lacked flavor, the cocktail sauce was not that, it was Ketchup & Tabasco not a lemon in sight. But asking the waiter was pointless because I would have come very after the fact.Suffice it to say I won't be back. I can get better seafood anywhere in that neighborhood.

This is a really beautiful establishment. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The food was good. Everyone was happy with their choices. The rice bowl, sea bass on garlic, salad with chicken and my salmon carpaccio and a mixed greens salad were very good.Service is friendly but here are my observations and I hope they can read and improve... I would have given a 5 stars if the service was better...There were only 3 tables with customers in the entire restaurant so in my mind there is no excuse for the less than desirable service..We had to keep calling the waiter to order drinks. No one checked if we needed something, needed more water, I had to call the waiter for a second glass of ice tea. My friends had to call the waiter or order second drinks.I asked for the salad dressing to be in the side. I ate the salad with no dressing as it never arrived with the salad or after the salad was delivered. My friend order a side of French fries that arrived after we all finished eating and the only reason that he got it is because he asked the waiter. It is just a bummer.

I was so excited to try this place, as we had seen one in Mexico City that was absolutely packed all day every day. We had walked by this newer San Diego one several times and always thought it looked so cute. Well, unfortunately we left disappointed. We chose to sit at the bar, as we wanted to do some happy hour snacking. There was no one else at the bar, but it still took awhile for someone to grab us drinks. They had cloth napkins, and my husband's was very obviously dirty when he sat at a clean spot. I ordered their mezcalita, which was the highlight of our visit. It had tamarind, and was quite good. We were offered some seafood broth, which was good as well. Then we ordered 3 dishes to start - guac, caesar salad, and tuna tostada. There were only 2 or 3 tables seated in the restaurant at that time, but it took quite some time for food to come out. Our server immediately said she would bring more chips for the guacamole, and she did, but those chips were in a paper bag and were stale. The guacamole was ok, but not much in there besides avocado and tomato. The caesar salad was absolutely drenched in dressing, and it seemed there was a lot of mayo in the dressing. Between the 2 of us, we couldn't even finish it, because it was just too thick. The tostado was ok, but the way they spiraled the cucumber made it hard to bite into without pulling all of it off. Before finishing our food, we had finished our drinks, but no one came to ask if we wanted another. We had thought about trying the tuna quesadilla and some tacos, but after not being impressed by our first round of food, we opted to not order anything else. We were going to get one more drink, but we had finished food, drinks, and our water, and were still waiting for someone to come back. At that point we were just ready to go. I didn't realize it had so many other locations. Maybe that explains how they can get by with just being mediocre. I am sad to say I probably won't be returning.

This restaurant is beautiful! We had a large group here and shared everything. I got a yummy mocktail with a taijin rim. A complimentary broth was brought out for us, which was a nice start. We shared the white fish tiradito, ceviche, Simon's shrimp, fresh oysters, salmon habanero-lime style, octopus, rockefeller oysters, rock spicy shrimp, petroleros shrimp, and a couple of other dishes. A few of the dishes had too much sauce or mayo to my liking, masking the flavor of the fish. The seafood was fresh and flavorful! We didn't initially order much, but were still hungry, so we ended up trying almost everything on the menu! I'm not sure if they added more items since my visit in May.For dessert, we got the flan and blintzers! Both desserts were great and not too sweet. Service was very attentive. I had a great time and would love to come back and try other menu items!

Our server was amazing super friendly! I've gone back more than a handful of times because the food is so so good and fresh ! I absolutely love the consomé you get at the start of your meal. The music , the ambiance , the whole place is perfect for any occasion. Want to dress up for date night ? yes , Birthday dinner ? Absolutely ! Casual lunch or dinner yes and yes . I highly recommend.

Fishers San Diego in Little Italy is the go-to destination for seafood lovers who crave the freshest and highest quality seafood. If you're looking for a refreshing drink to quench your thirst, we recommend trying the Pepellin cocktail, a delicious mix of cucumber, lime, and sprite. For those who love a bit of spice, the spicy tuna tostada and shrimp taco with creamy chipotle sauce are excellent choices. And if you're in the mood for ceviche, you can't go wrong with the Peruvian fish ceviche, which is made with citrus, tiger milk, avocado, onion, cilantro, and mahi-mahi.But if you're truly looking for a unique and flavorful experience, we highly recommend trying the Rocky Spicy Shrimp dish. This dish features battered fried shrimp stuffed with ginger, cream cheese, spicy mayo, and soy sauce. It's then topped with chives and fried carrots for an extra crunch. Every bite is a burst of flavor that you won't soon forget.Overall, Fishers San Diego is the perfect place to indulge in delicious seafood dishes that are both fresh and flavorful. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal, you're sure to find something that will satisfy your cravings.
