First Watch

Never heard of this place- my son and daughter in law invited me. It was busy- pre-checked in as there was a 40 minute wait. Was greeted as we entered and seated. Very noisy but not so much that you can't have a conversation. Inside was very clean and well lit. Our server Norma brought our drinks and gave us time to review the menu. We ordered- the Chickichanga, the Tri-afecta and a Monterey club and tomato basil soup. Although it was very busy, we did not have to wait long for our food. My son said the Chickichanga with million dollar potatoes were delicious. The chorizo was very good. My daughter in law had the Tri-Fecta and it was yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the Belgian waffle was firm on the outside and soft inside and it came with a grape jam. I had the Monterey club and tomato basil soup. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. The ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. The soup was good but I've had better. For me, it had a little bitter taste. I will definitely return. The prices are right and the food is quality grade with great flavor. We did not try any drinks other than soda and water.

Wait times may seem long but let me tell you it's worth the wait. (The place is busy for a reason) Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and made us want to return and try many more items on the menu. The potatoes was love at first bite. I knew everything was going to be delicious based on just that. Sure enough the Elevated Egg Sandwich was just as mouthwatering as the description on the menu. The Strawberry Tres Leche French toast was the perfect way to finish off our meal as a sweet (but not too sweet) treat. We washed everything with some delicious iced coffee. (Chocolate mint and salted caramel) Everything was so fresh and we look forward to coming back again soon. Also baby approved!

I went on a Thursday morning and they were busy. I thought it would be slow, because everyone would be at work. Nope, everyone was at First Watch. We were seated quickly. Probably waited about 20 minutes which was fine considering how busy they were. First Watch is always consistent. I've been to the location in Tempe several times. This is my first time eating at this location, which is closer to my home.When I say consistent you know what you're going to get. The food is always chef kiss. The maple bacon appetizer was so delicious. We also had the donuts. If I was a wise woman, I would have saved some of the bacon to insert inside of the donut hole. Next time I visit, I am definitely trying it. I feel like it would be a match made in heaven. It's always clean and family friendly. Good for a casual date as well. Our waiter was extremely nice. When I return I hope he is working and we can receive his service again. Oh, almost forgot. The last time I went to First Watch I paid at the register. They now have a QR code system that links you to an app. It was pretty seamless. I liked it. The only issue are tips. I'm not certain how that's paid out. I wanted to give my waiter a nice tip for his excellent service. Will definitely visit again. As I write this review, I'm thinking about that maple bacon appetizer. It's not called the million dollar bacon for no reason. Yum!

This place is great. The food and service are always amazing. My son and I both ordered the shishito Brisket Hash. Every component in the Hash was delicious, except for the Brisket. The Brisket was waaay too salty, almost inedible. Thank goodness there wasn't much Brisket on the plate. Maybe that's why.

Had this spot bookmarked for a while since I visit Phoenix monthly. This is a popular spot, and I'm glad I stopped by before returning to Vegas. They were very busy for brunch, and the wait would be a bit, so I opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was very nice and checked up on us quite often. Food: Avocado ToastFrench ToastCandied Bacon (they have 2 different types)The avocado was plentiful, and the French Toast was delicious. It also came with HOT syrup. They keep it warm in hot water. So good. I'd definitely return since my hotel where I stay at is less than a few minutes away.

I love coming here for brunch! It can get crowded sometimes, so you should plan for a wait if you come during peak hours. There is a community table, which usually have open seating, so when I come by myself I do not mind. I love this harvest dish! It's very good. I believe it was seasonal, so it may not still be there. That's another good thing, I can come here multiple times because they do have seasonal items to keep me from getting bored. The servers have always been kind and the food comes out relatively quickly.One thing to note is that parking can get tight. It shouldn't be too big of an issue as there multiple adjoining parking lots, but just something to keep in mind.

The food here is amazing everything is super fresh with beautiful presentation. Plenty of seating. You will not be disappointed by stopping here. Service has been on point the few times I've came and always very friendly. Always clean and aesthetically pleasing. I really like having a full view of the kitchen seeing the artist at work yet they must have great ventilation because no kitchen smells in dining area. Bathrooms always clean. Makes my heart warm.

Can't say enough about this place! I frequented the Glendale location for years before moving to Avondale, now this location is my fave. Plus they serve a few boozy selections that are perfect for brunch. Best Belgian waffle and the Million Dollar Bacon is a must try! The Avondale location is always busy but fast and friendly. If you can, grab a spot online and check in upon arrival for quicker seating. Great for families...the menu has something for everyone.

A bit of a wait but definitely worth it. Food and service were great. Music is a little loud & everyone tried to talk over one another but other than that, it's very chill.

The ambiance as soon as we walked in was they were very busy which is always a good sign. Their wait staff was wonderful and their food was so delicious. The traditional breakfast was so good and my husband had the biscuits and gravy which he truly enjoyed. We ordered their blueberry cornbread to go which I'm glad we did. That to was well worth it. The drinks were freshly made by their juice bar which we both had the watermelon wake up and the purple haze omg delish!!! Their prices were good and very reasonable too. If you're looking for a healthy alternative this is the place to go!! Trust me it's so worth it!!! We will be returning!!!
