Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

We came here to celebrate an intimate graduation dinner. The ambiance was really cozy & our server John was outstanding! We had a few of their white sangrias, 10/10. It was my first time going. We had the smoked wings, they were pretty good. The lobster queso & tortilla chips were slappin. I'm eating the chips writing this review about 5 days later lol. Still fresh. *shrugs* We both tried the 3 course meal options. I had the chicken tortilla soup, cilantro chicken entree & creme brûlée cheesecake. The soup was decent. I Lovedddd the chicken, onion rings & the cheesecake. My girlfriend had the Caesar salad which was a 10/10 , steak & brownie Sundae. She said it was good & loved the brownie as well. I'm excited to go back , I hope they have the scallops next time

When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with the enticing smells of grilling. While we had a reservation, it still took a bit to be seated. ( We were on time! Waited 10-15 mins.)Our waitress was attentive and helpful since it was our first time there. Our appetizers arrived in a timely manner a long with our drinks. We had the lobster spinach queso which came with plenty of chips to enjoy! But then the long wait began. We waited over an hour for our main course. I ordered the 7 oz filet with mashed potatoes. It was taste but warm and not sizzling hot. It was also more medium than medium rare. My husband had the Cajun Ribeye and Baked potato which he enjoyed. Our companions had the filet and baby back ribs which were also enjoyed.Our waitress was attentive and apologetic for the wait and was able to comp our appetizer for the long wait. The staff overall was welcoming and helpful.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would give this location a second try.

I just simply did not like the food at all. The seabass was chewy and I will never get over that. What was supposed to be a buttery delicate fish was laid upon a weird mix of roasted corn, bell pepper, rice, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, heirloom cherry tomatoes, spinach and I think farro?Side of veggies? BlandFries: stack cut with no salt; blandOmg! And the deviled eggs were just awful! I have never had a bad deviled egg until today! They were WAY too over studded! The texture was off! It wasn't smooth! With stiff chewy candied bacon as a garnish next to a raw jalapeño slice. I'm not sure if it was a chipotle sriracha in the mix, but I hated it.I was recommended the drinks but with a pineapple allergy, unfortunately I couldn't drink most that were on the menu. It was my first time here so I unfortunately didn't know what else they offered. I did enjoy my mule, however, but I did not care for the lemon drop. Its wasn't lemon like and was quite forgettable.I did think the our server was a bit slow on the go as well, but *shrugs* looking around, the other servers seemed unenthusiastic as well.Because of all these factors we decided to not get any dessert. Overall, not for me. Will not be back. For the price point, it wasn't worth it.

Saturday evening birthday dinner for six. Everything was perfect until i tasted my steak, which was salted to the point of inedible. Two managers offered to replace my meal, which was done, boxed for take home. I was greatly impressed by their willingness to please their customers.Our waiter, "Big Tom, was exceptional.

Everything we ate at Firebirds was amazing!We came during Restaurant week.I loved my creamy chicken Tortilla Soup. Mom always said we eat with our eyes. This soup looked amazing dressed with colored tortilla strips on top. My husband had the BLT salad and it was amazing!!!I had the New York Strip. It was yummy, but the Parmesan encrusted pork chop was pure artistry. I didn't care for the reduction sauce, but the chop was Wow!Our cheesecake was amazing! I cannot wait to come back.

We stopped by Firebirds for lunch. We decided to sit at the bar and our bartender/server was Regina who was great. Very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Salmon salad, tenderloin salad and iced tea. Both proteins were good and cooked to our request. My husband didn't care for the taste of the salmon dressing at all but that is just a personal preference. I do feel the salads were overpriced for what I would call a lunch portion salad. The tenderloin salad was $25.95 and the Salmon salad was $22.25. Our bill came to $54 with the iced teas before gratuity. The restaurant has stone and wood decor. I'm sure it is beautiful at night with the lighting. But, the restrooms look old and could use a refresh. Same with some of the walls in the bar seating that were scrapped up and missing paint. Firebird's is located in a great area across from the baseball field, Harkin's and near arrowhead mall. Close to many attractions if you are in the area.

Large party on a Friday night and they got us in! 14 of us were so happy. Kali S. Our server is Awesome we had a huge party of a girls soccer team in the bar area, we sat at 3 different tables and she hit us all of our food, drinks, condiments, and all the random picky things we asked for Ruth a smile and efficiently! Everyone loved their food. This is a nice restaurant with several rooms for seating. Huge parking lot. Wide menu variety. Fun atmosphere. We will return next time we are in Arizona! The manager came out and helped which I loved.For sure get a reservation because this is a happening spot. They had multiple hostesses and they were all friendly and helpful. Nice large portions.

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here this weekend. If I had to make a suggestion I would say this location is better than the Surprise one. While the Surprise location is brand new and just a few months open this location is top notch! The seasoned staff and the food really shine! We had a reservation for 4pm, while reservations are optional I recommend it as prom season is in full swing in Arizona so many restaurants are just overflowing with high school aged prom groups right now out having dinners. We were seated promptly and our server this time was Edgar. The food was amazing and really delicious! Edgar was attentive and really added to our dinning experience he made suggestions and made sure we were taken care of ! The BLT Salad and Smoked Wings were a favorite that's for sure! The garlic sirloin was great ask for it with the braised onions and mushrooms! And to top this dinner off we tried the crème brûlée cheesecake - it's definitely a must have!!!

Came in with a last minute reservation. It was packed! Got seated in about 15 minutes. Our waiter was spectacular, he was very attentive and friendly. The bread they gave at the beginning was hot and fresh, super good. The entrees we got were great!!! It was such good food. The place was big and spacey even though there were tons of people.
