Came here for a baby shower and was had high hopes it was going to be a hit since I was recommended by a good friend, but was let down immensely. We came with a party of 11. I made our reservation 2 months in advance. Initially everything was smooth making the reservation. I requested for a floral arrangement and I was told that their floral lady no longer works there or is contracted there. No biggie, they said they were still able to accommodate my floral arrangement, sweet!Upon arrival, our table was set up but my floral arrangement for the table was not set up. I asked the server, who by the way was the only server there on a weekday said he did not know of any floral arrangements for the table. He went to the back and found 1 floral arrangement wrapped in the fridge. He began to state that he did not know how to set up a table arrangement and that he would try his best. It was a kind gesture and he also said he would comp the arrangement. He also stated that I could talk to the manager but the manager did not speak a word to me and did not make any eye contact. The server even said "I don't know why he's not talking to you and just talking to me". It was the most sexist and narcissistic interaction I've ever faced. The food was really good, but it was not worth the chaotic and unorganized experience. I will not be returning.

The good: ambience is good here. The inside is cute, it could be a good spot. It's small, but could be intimate and cozy. The location is good as well. It is in Montrose and easy to get to if you live close. We had reservations for Christmas Day but had to change them (due to a movie running late) but they happily accommodated. We were concerned but it was easy and painless and they were understanding. The not so good: We went on Christmas Day and expected a bit of a crowd. It was actually not busy at all - which made us assume the service would be better than expected. It was not. I guess they had multiple servers across all the tables. The first server was not friendly. They took a lot of time to come back and forth to the table. The other server was more attentive and very friendly but couldn't really help the overall vibe since the initial experience wasn't great and she just randomly popped in. We expected better service considering the fact that there weren't more than 3 tables. We ordered two cocktails to start, one was a Negroni (which is a favorite of ours). It came out and was not good at all. The ratio wasn't right and it just didn't taste like a classic Negroni should. No big deal (it happens) but at $15 I did ask them to switch it for something else. The server was apologetic and was more than happy to switch it out. However, the bartender came to the table after hearing it. The first thing he asked was "have you ever had a Negroni before?" And then told us about how his brother loves them and has never complained. Then he suggested the Negroni wasn't good bc "we didn't specify the gin we wanted". It wasn't about the gin. It just wasn't made well (again which is fine - it's not their specialty) but to come over and get defensive or question if we ever had one seems a bit rude and unnecessary. It was condescending. It felt like he was suggesting we didn't know what the drink was more than he didn't know how to make one. It was awkward. He talked too much and didn't seem interested in any real feedback. The food was fine. One dish was the Branzino and it was fine. We didn't finish it because it did lack flavor but the fish and pasta were cooked great. We ate the fish and left the pasta because of flavor. The other dish was lasagna - it was good, not great, but because we didn't finish the branzino we shared the lasagna dish. At this price point I'd suggest other places. It's not bad but we spent $160 after tip (with the drinks) and didn't finish two complete meals. We ended up getting home still hungry and looked on UberEats for delivery options.

Not impressed. We had a birthday dinner here and everything was so pricey for not even being average. It is a great atmosphere but the food is not worth the splurge. My friends complained the ravioli was cold and another, her Carbonara was extremely salty. Our waiter also seemed to be out of it and a little awkward, which is okay but I think all of it paired together just made a underwhelming experience

Atmosphere and ambiance was elegant. The ricotta appetizer was the highlight. Main course was heavy on the salt.

I really love this place for authentic Italian food. I took my friend here and he's from Italy and he was taking pictures and showing them to his mom. I really like their prosciutto and cheese appetizer. On Tuesdays you can get a spaghetti trio, which is really great I like how they make their noodles al denteDef try the Nduja risotto and the short rib ravioli (amazing)Nduja is a spicy sausage imported from Italy. I personally love the vibe inside it's super quaint, and the service is amazing and warm. It feels like home here. Alessio I'd the chef! He's awesome!

After my previous review the owner messaged me this, still 1 star. I can't believe he went out of his way to send this, very unprofessional but this aligns with my initial impression.

We wanted this place to be great but unfortunately we found the experience to be fairly average. The best part of this restaurant was the ambiance. It's very cute and will definitely look great in your photos. The flowers are great. The location too is very cool. Parking is kind of an issue, but thankfully we were able to walk over. They had a very thinly sliced butter bread for us to start off with at the table and I thought it was unique and great. Our appetizer was these small ricotta balls. They were good, but I was hoping for a little more for the price. My wife ordered the fettuccine Al pesto. I thought it was pretty good but my wife didn't love it. The pesto was clearly made in house and I thought it was decent. I ordered the pasta carbonara. While I didn't love it, I did get it made vegetarian. I'll hold off on being too judgmental considering I changed the dish. For the price I would hope to be blown away by my experience and I just didn't feel that way about this place. The service was a little below what I would expect. Our waitress was pleasant but just wasn't as responsive to getting us what we needed. I had to ask 2 people and wait a long time to get crushed red pepper flakes. Our waitresses packed up our to go box but then didn't bring us our check. Again, I didn't have a bad experience, but it wasn't to the level I think it should have been at. They looked short staffed and the people they did have seemed a little inexperienced to be working at a nice place like this. I would consider coming back in the hopes this was an isolated mediocre experience. I think this place has a lot of potential and would love for it to be a place we could come to regularly inside the loop.

I was here for an engagement dinner and by the end of the night felt like we were friends with the staff and the chef. Everybody was so attentive and nice. The restaurant itself is very clean and charming and overlooks Montrose. They have a patio right by the sidewalk and there is an upstairs area which I assume is for larger parties. Of course, their food and drinks are great too. I had the Salmon which was cooked perfectly and much better than the salmon I've been cooking up on the old air fryer at home! Seriously though, some people judge a restaurant by their steaks but I think cooking salmon perfectly is a whole other level of talent. Parking kind of sucked on a Saturday night but I saw there was valet and apparently the Chase lot is open for use as well, but might want to double check. I found street parking one street over.

I went here for my birthday brunch. The food was delicious and the service was great. Very nice environment and aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely go back. But I would not go with a group again. If you're like me and have different friend groups who like to try new places, this can be challenging because they only split the check evenly. And that's difficult for people who don't know each other. My one friend got dessert, she said it was a delicious tiramisu but she ended up paying $84 for it because of their check policy. So it is not ideal for groups of people who are not close friends or family. I thing or at least I would not recommend for that. It's important for me if I'm with business associates or colleagues too that we are all able to get a separate receipt for business tracking and tax purposes so be prepared for that if with a group of 4 or more there is also a service charge in addition to an expected gratuity. So I would go back but probably with 1 or 2 close friends instead of a meet up or
