We were walking the Freedom Trail and needed a drink and a bathroom so decided to pop in quick. The place has great decor and I loved how the bathroom was also on theme. I had a sangria that was great- very sweet and refreshing.

Ate there for the first time,not great the chicken and veal palm was just okay. It's just a basic Italian restaurant , lack luster menu,the tomato sauce was just bland. The pitzalli cookie was a nice jesture but stale. The waiter had a dry humor but a nice guy.

Hey You!Ya like room temperature bread? Ya like a butter/oil sauce that makes you yearn for the times where humans ate blubber straight off the whale carcass? Ya like ravioli shaped like stomach cancer and smells like low tide on the Hudson River? - Are you so introverted you actually prefer your server completely ignoring your existence for the entire meal and then LITERALLY SLAMMING the check down on your table way like your ENTIRE existence was an inconvenience to him? *Seriously though I've gotten better service from 16 year olds slaving away at Applebees. I honestly regret not dining and dashing because this plus sized waiter has no business being in a customer service job if he's going to be that miserable and treat customers like that. Miserable experience, Food that tastes like it came out the dumpster of a Dollar Tree, and, oh yeah, the portrait of Bill Clinton gazing upon me in the bathroom really sealed the deal for me...I'd sooner come back to Boston in a red coat and drink the tea out the harbor

Fantastic old Italian vibes here. Huge portions of solid, flavorful and vibrant pastas. We did the Sunday special where you get three pastas baked in bread, also got chicken parm, aperol spritz and espresso martinis. Everything was delicious. Our server was incredibly attentive, water was never unfilled and we got yummy salted bread to start our meal and a little sweet waffle to end it. Two entrees and my friend and I have enough for dinner later. Great views for people watching as folks walk by. Great location by many other bars if you want to pop in somewhere else afterward. Loved it!

Food was tasteless and overpriced. Honestly the trashcan of 'Italian' food. Actually insulting to serve food like this. Don't hit me with that 'oH yOu MusT noT knOW wHat Italian Food is like' BS. Places like SF and NYC absolutely CRUSH these places in terms of quality... though prices may rival or are pricier.Also - my cup of water had food debris on it - as if it wasn't cleaned well. Afterwards when I asked for a replacement... they came back with the same cup, but topped off with more water, with the SAME debris in it lmfao.But I will have to admit I tried my friend's espresso martini and that was good, so not a complete downfall here.4/10, would definitely not come again nor recommend to a friend.

I was looking for a last-minute Saturday night dinner reservation, and this was the only spot with spots available at 7. The restaurant is quite noisy, as a heads up. We got the calamari to start, which was pretty standard. I ordered the lobster ravioli with tomato sauce, which was alright. The lobster flavor was a bit faint, and I felt like the tomato sauce tasted store bought. The espresso martini was pretty good, though. Definitely not the best place in north end, but it is on the cheaper end. I'd say this place feels more like an "American Italian" rather than "authentic Italian" restaurant

I stopped here on my long freedom trail walk. There's many Italian restaurants around but all of them congested. I came in here as a little snack before crossing the bridge. It was quiet but I was immediately met with the host who knows every thing on the menu and lists it out for you. They have the best everything here. I accidentally got straight fried mozzarella made for 8 people but I ate as much as I could it bc I didn't want to disappoint the host.As I was eating he told someone he could make anything but mojitos because he wanted to grow his own mint if that tells you anything of the dedication.

Terrible. Party of 8, we pre ordered our meal as requested when we made the reservation. Waited 90 minutes for food to come out and it was served one and two plates at a time. One didn't come out and another was wrong. Drink service was slower than a snail going backwards up a hill. Food was ok at best.

Came in to have a drink and sat at the bar. Service was great! Got a cannoli because it was recommend, and did not disappoint!! So good! Highly recommend. Also, if you want a great espresso martini, also great.
