I noticed all of the Yelp reviews are quite dated. Apparently, this place used to be better but my experience as of today was not great. As a matter of fact, I threw away my adobo chicken after taking a bite and went to another restaurant for lunch. Why? The presentation was not great. The chicken didn't have a lot of flavor and it did not look appetizing to begin with. Traditional Filipino food from previous experience did not look like this. Also the pancit's veggies were not cooked well and the only good thing was the lumpia. That said, I should've paid attention to 2 signs before ordering.1. There weren't many customers.2. The one customer I overheard only ordered lumpia. To the owners of this business, I certainly hope you stepup because what you offered me compared to other Filipino kitchens is not up to par at all.

This place is amazing. $10 for a large portion of chicken adobo, white rice, and pancit. The meals are ready in 5-10 minutes and taste amazing. The people are friendly too! This is easily my favorite food truck.

Take this review with a grain of salt as I am of Filipino heritage and may be overcritical comparing it to my families cooking which I have grown to love. The Bistek is not bad, but the portion for the price is kind of high. The biggest issue I have is the lumpia was mediocre and the sweet and spicy sauce they included was not the actual sweet and spicy sauce most would expect from authentic served lumpia, instead the lumpia sauce provided was more of a sweet and sour sauce. :( Will probably only get rice plates when I am craving filipino on post and don't want to deal with the hassle of going outside the gates.

Great Filipino Food and they cater too! Very generous portions. A yummy meal with lots of flavor for $10! Brought my whole family to come enjoy lunch. Adobo was perfectly savory. Lumpia is a nice size with lots of pork meat. Compliments to the "dessert chef" the Leche Flan and Biko was the perfect sweetness. Langonisa (sweet pork sausage) was a nice compliment to Pancit (noodles). We also enjoyed the pork stew (dinuguan), you gotta try this dish because it's authentically Filipino. Come by if you're ever at Fort LEWIS.

My family and I took a trip down to the Exchange to pick up a few things and noticed this food truck right in front. It was the first time we've seen it and once my boys saw it was a filipino food truck, they said "let's eat there." So of course, we decided to eat lunch here instead of our initial plan of eating tamales. As usual, since I have a large family we pretty much got everything that they offered for the day on the menu. This consisted of dinuguan, pinakbet, pancit, lumpia, lechon kuwali, pork and chicken adobo, and suman (yea we like to eat LOL). I got the pinakbet and chicken adobo. The adobo was good. Some people might not like their chicken practically falling off the bone, but I do, and this chicken did just that. The pinakbet, which is a dish of mixed vegetables cooked with pieces of pork in bagoong...was okay. I didn't really taste the bagoong in the dish at all. But since it was the only veggies on my plate I ate it all. My family liked their dishes though. My husband and 13 year old both had the dinuguan and lechon kuwali (can you tell, they like to eat the same thing) and my son practically engulfed his plate. The husband said the fat and meat on the lechon kuwali was proportioned correctly and had a good crunch. My son said his dinuguan had a good amount of fat in it. He likes fat so he enjoyed it. Like I said he engulfed his entire meal So if you like fatty dinuguan, you'll like it. My 10 year old also had the dinuguan and lumpia. He said the lumpia was good, but he likes his grandma's better =)My 6 year old had the pancit and pork adobo. He really enjoyed his meal and ate all of his adobo and almost finished his pancit. I asked him what he thought about the adobo and he said "it was good, it tasted like beef..." Well he's 6 years old, any type of meat is beef LOL I can't comment about his pork adobo but I did take a bite of his pancit and I thought it was average. Overall, if you're in the area, or should I say on base, and want to get some filipino food this is a good spot to try out. The owners are very friendly.

We wanted food from the Noodle and Rice food truck, but it was closed. We opted for food from here versus Burger King. Got pork and chicken adobo, Lechon Kuwali, pansit and Tapsilog. The tapsilog was dry--like eating beef jerky, no sauce, no onions...just dry flavorless meat with rice. The adobos did not have good flavor, one of my coworkers asked if it was even cooked because it was so pale and rice seemed overcooked. Our coworker, from The Philippines was embarrassed by the food and disappointed with her order. The only good part of our order was the lumpia, so two stars is all we can give.
