Filibertos Scottsdale

The people that work here do not speak English, and they end up using it to their advantage to upsell you. They pretend that they don't know what you're saying when you order and just give you whatever it is they think your ordering my two taco order turned into tacos and a huge side of beans for 15 dollars! The food is not even that good it's slightly better than Taco Bell

Ate at the FLW store for the first time last night. My receipt was for $23.38. When I checked my account the next morning the charge was $28.90. Called to ask why the difference and was told they charge 3% for using bank card. This doesn't explain why they charge an extra 23%, but I guess they believe they should get a 20% tip for counter service!Update...One day later the charge was adjusted to a 3% surcharge. Don;t know if it was due to the review, but I wanted to amend my comment about the 23% fee.

They charge 3% for using bank card, but they don't tell you that up front. You are surprised when you get your Visa or MC invoice. Say Bye!

Have you ever seen pink Chorizo? Come here and you can experience that first hand! Want to eat where the floors are disgusting, the soda is mislabeled or out? And the salsa is mostly water? You too can try Filibertos in Scottsdale where they know nothing of what real Mexican food tastes like. Tried to figure out what the consistency reminded me of in regards to the Chorizo and we figured it out. Playdoh it is like playdoh. Do not eat here. There was even vomit in the parking lot.

I really used to like their daily deals; however, over the last few months the quality has gone down a lot. Each time I've ordered from them, I've been disappointed. The tacos are basically empty. Same with the bean burritos - you get 85% tortilla and 15% beans. Two stars because drive-thru staff is always nice, but 0 stars for food.

As always, food and service was incredible! The people working here are extremely sweet!

Incredibly expensive and not very good. Since when did a bean burrito and three tacos cost $25??

This location is horrible! Tonight they told me that a bean and cheese burrito was $8.29. The online menu said $5.43. When I showed them that at the window, they said if you want it it's $8.29. when I asked for a manager, the girl stepped away and came back and said the manager said it's $8.29. when I said I'd like to speak to that manager, she said I'm the manager. I reminded her she just told me that she said "he said the price was $8.29". She changed her story and said that he was the owner. When I said, I'd like to speak to the owner, she told me he was in New York at a business meeting. I told them they could keep their burrito and left. This location is giving Filiberto's a bad reputation.

The burritos here are so delicious I have a hard time believing some of the other reviewers ever tried them. The green chile pork is my favorite and tonight I tried the shredded beef which was excellent! Keep in mind that the burritos are about 3x the size of those at the place next door--I can get at least two meals from one. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want authentic Mexican food and the best tortillas please try Filibertos!!
