Figaros is located close to Burger Lounge, which is why it caught my attention. I saw all the gelato! I will have to come back and try some. At $5.50 a serving, this was the most inexpensive thing on the menu besides the coffee.I noticed they had prepacks of gelato available to purchase. It was very dark in this cafe. Perhaps they didn't turn on some lights or open the blinds this day.I decided on a slice of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake at $9.95. It was an average sized slice. It's expensive, but that's the going rate these days, isn't it?The flavors of the dark chocolate cookie crust, tart raspberry swirled with the cheesecake complimented each other well The cheesecake is neither soft nor too firmI didn't care too much for the white chocolate candy shell on top. Something tasted off to me. But everything else was very tasty. I especially liked the dollop of buttercream frosting(?) on top.Was the slice worth the $9.95? It certainly was today.

I scream. you scream, we all scream... for gelato! I prefer gelato over ice cream any day. The owner waited on us. He was patient letting us try a few samples. The guy before us took his time and ended up not getting any and the owner was totally chill. We each ordered a scoop and truly enjoyed out experience. This place seems to be popular with the university students as a large study group had just left. I was perusing the vast array of beautiful desserts displayed. Not all are baked on the premises but nonetheless look amazing. If I'm back in town, l'll definitely drop in again.

Craving a dessert while walking around Hillcrest neighborhood, so we stumbled upon this shop! They have a large array of gelato, we got to sample, and they were sooo creamy, rich, and full of flavor without being too sweet.They also serve coffee, crepes, slices of cheesecakes, and cute little desserts. All of their desserts look so appetizing. We got a small gelato in a cup for $5.50. Most other desserts are pricy, range from $7-15 each. Parking is only street or a paid parking garage, not sure if they validate parking!

It's hard to say how good this place is. 10 outta 10 is it. Smooth, creamy, flavor packed. It's just the best. It is rich though. Smaller cups are more than enough. Yummmmmeeeee!!! Go. Enjoy and don't miss the desert case. Wowzers!! Oh! Speciality coffees - they have em all.

So clean I had to tell the person who was working the day I went. Like clean over clean! This was my first visit and won't be the last one. I loved my cappuccino but was not in the mood for desserts even though they are beautifully presented and have a lot of variety. Lots of seating. I liked seating facing the street so I could watch some people while doing my thing. Very quiet, maybe it was the time I went. Great experience.

This is a very cute cafe with some awesome options to eat and drink! We were walking around the neighborhood and ventured in because we wanted something to drink. The owner was very nice. Their delicious treats are so nicely displayed, you end up wanting to eat everything, but also don't want to spoil their prettiness by eating them! I ordered the horchata latte and my friend ordered the orange and mango dessert pastry. The horchata was warm, sweet, milky, slightly powdered, with a slight amount of foam and cinnamon powder dusted. It was perfect. The dessert was delicious - just the right amount of fresh orange and mango flavors, very light custard in the center and overall, a light dessert. I will be back soon to try more things!!

I got a whole white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for someone's birthday. Definitely a sugar bomb but super decadent. I'm not scoring lower because my personal preference for desserts not being overly sweet is a me thing. I also tried their Cloud 9 and their Pink Lady. I liked the matcha and raspberry flavor in the Cloud 9. Not a super big fan of the jelly texture that coats the Pink Lady. Would come back for a cheesecake lover but personally, it's too sweet for me.

3.5 starsCame here after dinner and got a slice of tiramisu, the sponge was light and layers of creme had good flavor. I guess for just under $10 I'd expect some sort of decoration on the plate, but I guess if they did that it would take the price over $10. It was good, but I wasn't really blown away.There are a ton of different options and many beautiful individual composed desserts which have a lot of work put into them, so theres a lot of labor that goes into them. I think I'd go for one of those individual desserts or gelato next time.Service was friendly and helpful, they also have gelato and espresso drinks so you have option of a complete dessert. Being located in Hillcrest you'll need to find street parking. It's a nice dessert place if you've had dinner in a near by restaurant.
