Everything from extensive delicious desserts selection to fantastic knowledgeable service this is the place you want to come back for little sweet celebration. Spacious and clean with outdoor space is a plus. Dessert a little pricey but what isn't in SD, but chocolate mousse dessert was spot on!

This is such a cool place for young people to hangout with the dim wooden interior. The staff were super friendly and offered flavor samples of the gelato.I knew I had to come back to this place after I visited the first time and had a delicious hazelnut flavored gelato.On my 2nd visit, they did not have any of my go-to traditional gelato flavors such as hazelnut, or pistachio, so I was unsure of what to get. Of the options, I opted for the cookies and caramel which I thought was okay. It tasted like sweet cream caramel with Biscoff cookies. Texture wise the gelato is a little watery instead of thick and creamy. This gelato shop is on the pricier end likely due to its location. Not sure if I'd come here specifically again unless I was already in the area.

No coffee/espresso flavored gelatoTheir chocolate gelato wasn't ridiculously sweet compared to some places at gaslamp, and their passion fruit was tart where you didn't fully make a sour face once absorbed by your tastebuds.My sister liked the oreo gelato.Spot is a bit cramped with their set up, small entrance and kind of confusing, congested set up with ordering if there's a ton of people. Staff was chill, they had a ton of baked pastries and cake available.

Stopped in for some gelato after a celebration dinner. They had a great selection, and I was really satisfied with all the options we tried. Service was great, and the place was clean.They had a great selection of other cakes and treats. Although I didn't try them, they looked like they tasted good.

Cute dessert & crepe cafe in the center of hillcrest. My husband had a savory crepe called Monte Cristo, it was huge, the plating is cute. He also had a americano and I had a cappuccino, both are nice. Their desserts look awesome, probably I'll choose a cake to enjoy the next time.

Located in the heart of North Park, this cafe closes at 11pm daily. A large variety of desserts to choose from all ranging between $9-10 roughly. As a first timer trying their dessert, I asked which one were the most popular items and the worker mentioned that their carrot cake was the most popular, but because they were sold out of it, he recommended the Boston cream cake. I also ordered the Cloud 9 dessert which was a matcha cake with raspberry jam. When you think of anything Boston cream, you'd typically think oozing with custard and it was disappointing to see that there was barely any custard in the cake and it was unfortunately dry. As for the other dessert, there was very little of the matcha cake and instead, was mainly frosting. The desserts are VERY PRETTY, but being as both desserts were just decent and recommended as their popular items, I give this place three stars and would not return for the dessert. For coffee, my friend and I ordered an americano and a cubano cortado which were both good. The shop was small, maybe able to fit roughly 14 people and had a busy, but manageable crowd on a Saturday night around 9pm.

My aunt dropped off a few desserts again. This time we tried the: Ms Lemon (Lemon Cake / Lemon Mousse / Basil Ginger Compote) & the Choconut (Chocolate Cake / Hazelnut Paste / Dark Chocolate Ganache) The yellow glaze didn't fully cover the lemon mousse and it was quite thick like last time. The white chocolate lemon decoration was nice and thin. It was so pretty with the edible glitter. The lemon poppy seed cake was so moist and when you eat it with that lemon marmalade it was even tastier. It had a bit of a floral taste which I thought of jasmine extract but the menu says it's actually ginger and basil. You could really taste the lemon from this dessert and it wasn't overwhelming. Next we had the Chocolate Caramel Hazelnut Entremet. This was so beautiful. The gold hazelnut was placed perfectly on top. The glaze was thin and shiny. The mousse was so incredibly airy. Then to contrast that, you had the dark chocolate ganache which tasted very rich. The hazelnut paste near the bottom tasted like the base of an opera cake. When we cut the dessert it reminded me of a lava cake with the interior, which I thought maybe was caramel-- dropped out. (Sexxyy!) I would recommend this and order it again. It would even be tasty alongside some gelato or a coffee.

Location: no parking lot, street parking only! Service: come on a Monday around 11am, there was a couple that ordered two crepes before us and the wait was a little longer than expected to ordered. They do offer free samples for the gelato, which I appreciated. Limited seating inside and outside. What I ordered: Chicken Pesto Crepe: Grilled Chicken Breast, Mozzarella, Basil Garlic Pesto, Roasted Bell Peppers My thoughts: The crepe was the longest crepe I've ever seen! I loved that this place offers both sweet and savory crepes but I was disappointed with the crepe I got! The chicken was a little on the dry side and the crepe itself was a little bland as well. I wouldn't order or recommend this crepe. I also did sample the gelato, the texture was super creamy and velvety! However, the flavors were a little too sweet for my liking so I didn't get a scoop.

Talk about a birthday cake! I recently had a friend come over with a box of treats from Figaro to celebrate my birthday. I have the biggest sweet tooth and loved every bite. And wow- I was absolutely blown away by the presentation! I really liked the little lemon and mango mousse cakes. The chocolate berry cake was practically INHALED.
