This restaurant was originally Alfonso's and I always came for the green sauce. The food was mediocre. Well now that it is Fiesta Margarita, I still find myself only coming for the green sauce and dumping it on mediocre food. I have been to Fiesta Margarita twice and found that they are very inconsistent. Both times, I ordered street tacos. The menu doesn't say it comes with beans and rice but on my second visit, it came with beans and rice. I tried to order barbacoa tacos on both visits but they didn't have any. I will just assume that they don't serve any barbacoa at all even tho it's on the menu. The first time the tacos were decent although I have had better. The green sauce definitely helps give the tacos flavor. The second time the tacos were sooo salty and the carnitas were extremely dry. The service is also hit or miss. Although the food is pretty mediocre to me, I can't stay away from the green sauce. It's just so good. The sauce is why I chose to give this restaurant a 3 star rating. It makes the food more enjoyable and I'll just have to keep coming back every now and then to get my green sauce fix.

Americanized but still decent Mexican food. Attentive service. Everyone gets their own bowl and bottle of salsa, so double-dipping would be OK. Margaritas will sneak up on you, so take them easy. Shrimp cocktails are large enough to be a main course unless sharing. Extensive and varied menu. Music on Saturday night! My tip of the day: The original Alfonso's is in Shelbyville TN.

Has changed hands, and to be honest lost it's appeal. Service has taken a fall, drinks were ordered but never arrived, food is still good, but last night they cut us off, 14+ people??? No one was drunk or badly behaved, and yet we were cut off, with no explanation given.....And then confusion over the bills.Need to find a new restaurant for our Friday nights.New owners, you need to look hard at the level and quality of service and take this review as constructive not destructive.

This is the first time I came here based on a friends recommendation and I love it. It has that classic Mexican restaurant vibe. Someone was having a birthday party and they pulled out the sombrero and sang. I got the pitcher margarita and the price and flavor was awesome. I loved the service and can't wait to come back again. Oh, and they give military discounts. My husband is a veteran so that is always an awesome bonus.

My family and I enjoyed our lunch at Fiesta Margarita formerly known as Alfonso's. The new owner manager, Salvador "Chava" Guzmán greeted us as we arrived. Our meal was excellent and very delicious. We ordered from the lunch menu and had the chicken chimichanga, shrimp and steak quesadilla and a chicken burrito. Our grandchildren enjoyed chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger. Chava told us that the menu will be revised soon and new items like gorditas and small tacos will be available when the new menu is completed and presented. This is an excellent place in Murfreesboro to get excellent and delicious Mexican cuisine. Prices are very reasonable. My family and I recommend Fiesta Margarita to you.

We've been coming here for two years. The first year we built many relationships with the owner and staff and were always treated like family. Now, the owners have changed and the atmosphere has changed as well. We keep coming because we think maybe it's just a bad day for the staff but the food is always authentic. We recently came and we were the only people in there and we were treated like we were a nuisance. Never once did they crack a smile or use manners. Every time we looked around the staff would be on their phones--even making calls. I'm very very disappointed with how the establishment has changed. The previous owner had it packed and was always trying new things such as live music and trivia night to bring business in. He was a delight to talk to and an over all great man. It's a shame how it can go from a booming business to a ghost town.

Not bad. I'm not a fan of the watery salsa-too hard to get it on the chip. The food took a long time to come out but they kept offering chips. The Dos Equis was nice and cold and the iced mugs were a nice touch.Food pretty good. I'd eat here a lot if I lived in this town.

Visited Fiesta Magarita for the first time and enjoyed it enough to go back. Had a pretty attentive waiter at first. Looking around the restaurant its hit or miss if you are going to sit on a torn up bench in the booth. The decor is lacking that fiesta feeling. Not many customers in there...hum...Moving on to the food, I ordered a chicken chimi with rice and beans, not bad at all, Good portions enjoyed the meal enough to go back.Fast forward, third time going there, got lucky and found a bench with minimum holes and wear on it, sat down and ordered my favorite go to chimi and rice and beans meal. The food came and the rice was super hard, when I mentioned it to the waiter he said, "oh ok," then went in the back kitchen and you can hear him telling the cooks about the rice so I thought ok he's going to bring me some fresh cooked rice in a bit...NOPE! He walked back to us and asked if we wanted a second beer..NOPE! Lost a customer buddy. Never said we will get you more rice or take it off your bill,,nothing! Not trying to do your job for you but when a customer tells you the food is not cooked, you should at least offer to replace it or take it off the bill. That would have made the difference of us coming back. But with this being said, we will take our business elsewhere.

Great food, good prices, AMAZING salsa, mediocre service and an unprofessional demeanor from the hostess, who was FaceTiming her friend while seating us... poor communication amongst the staff. Not the worst experience, but not the best either. Caminos or Nachos has them beat hands down.
