I've only had the pork tamales, refried beans and rice from Fiesta Latina and they are heavenly! They are so damn good in fact, that I always order the same thing whenever I head up to the Everett area and 'git hongry'! :-)Tamales so good you'll slap your Momma! Great, good flavored cornmeal masa surrounding a filling of shredded, tender pork in red chili sauce. The care and quality of them reminds me of the homemade dinners I had back in the SoCal area I grew up in, especially when everybody would have tamales for Xmas or NY dinners. The rice is well seasoned, never dry or bland and the refried beans are the absolute best I've had since leaving the American Southwest. One day I'll have to tear my regular habit apart and try their other items but for now, make mine TAMALE!!!

Craving an authentic tamale?Head up to Hwy 99 near Everett and you will not be disappointed with this little place on a small strip mall. After you pass the grocery, there resides the great cooks and about 8 tables. We are always satisfied with the great tamales, so we order a dozen: half pork and half chicken. The pork tamales are our favorite. Ummm...the aftertaste of spices and masa lasts til you cross the border into Mexico.

I am beginning to guess that I do not like "authentic" Mexican food. Lets talk beef folks. Am I to believe that "authentic" beef dishes in Mexico ONLY have the toughest fat and grizzle cuts of beef known to exist? It was a fair portion of beef but this thin slab of meat was COMPETELY connected by strips of fat and grizzle and was too difficult to cut so in "authentic" fashion (I assume) I had to rip it apart with my hands to make it a manageable size to put onto my authentic sized corn tortilla's. So for $9.99 I got Tough beef 1/4 cup re-fried beans (couldn't tell, might be canned) 1/4 cup rice Fried onions (on beef) 6 Corn Tortilla's 2 mini cups of spicy green puree' of some sort 1 mini cup of spicy red sauce The last two items are food equivalent of mentioning "cup holders" in a car ad, you just stretching for things to make it seem better. The folks were nice enough, I just don't get it. Maybe I keep ordering the wrong thing or getting unlucky on the days I try "authentic" Mexican food. It just seems that for the $2 they spend making the meal I should have got a lot more for my $10 I can't judge this place on it's authenticity, it seems to have that, I can only judge it on how I like the food...I didn't. Sorry puritans.

The BEST taco's I've found in Everett. All the ladies in the back are very friendly and the food is real reasonable. $1.50 tacos, $6 burritos.I'm a big fan of the Chicken. They also have a meat/deli counter to buy bulk carne asada, chorizo, and others.

I wasn't disappointed, but not really impressed. However i blame that on being raised on some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. If you love mexican food, give this place a shot. Nothing like authenticity to make your food taste that much better

This is not your traditional TexMex type of restaurat. This like many in the area, is a full blown Mexican hotspot. Starting withe their grocery store and restaurant mixture. They also sell meat and video for some reason. I go there for the food. I usually get a taco or two and a torta(like a sandwich, but cool). No matter if it is carnitas, carne asada or adobada, they all come with the traditional cylantro and onions(wierd, but good). Acompany that with a traditional mexican soda: jarritos. whith flavors ranging from Tamarindo, tuti frutti, and my favorite: Jamica (make sure you get the $2 2 litter bottle instead of the small $1 soda. They have other stuff like burritos and chicharron(pork skin) but i stick with the tacos and tortas....hope you like it

Come here for the tamales. Sure they're a tad pricey ($1.75 each), but so worth the cost. The red and green meat tamales are very good.I also come back here every time I have to order birthday cakes. They sell a delicous Pastel De Tres Leches - a delicate, spongie cake that is soaked in sweet consdensed milk, then covered with whipped topping. A 1/4 sheet cake runs about $39. However, you can add fresh fruit for an additional $5 - $10, depending on the season and type of fruit. I like fresh strawberries and bananas. Tell them to go easy on the decorations. Their decorators love to use bright colors for the icing that are bordering on neon :) And while you are here, pick up a colorful pinata for your party, or a religious candle or wall decoration with saints.NOTE: The cake is not baked on the premises. They actually order it from a bakery that delivers Mexican sweet bread and cakes to their store, daily. The baker is El Angel Bakery in Arlington, WA. Also, don't be surprised if they don't get your specific instructions about decorations quite right. I asked for a 'no decorations, only white topping, and a simple greeting in pastel yellow color' cake and I what they gave me was something with lots of yellow flowers and bright "Happy Birthday" letters. However tacky the lettering and decorations looked, the cake was incredibly delicious!Parking is tricky. A few spots in front of the store. Just be careful backing out since you are real close to the curb (on Hwy 99).

Hole in the wall strip mall in S. Everett hides a really great and authentic Mexican kitchen found by walking through a convenience store. A full and pretty inexpensive menu of all your favorites as prepared in a genuine home cooking style. Don't let being your gringo-ness prevent you from savoring this great little spot. Outstanding carnitas torta!

The best authentic chicken tacos I've had north of Los Angeles! This hole in the wall taco joint inside a market is a gem. The store looks a bit run down, and could probably use new furniture, but the food here is excellent. The kitchen is in full view so you can see that the food is prepared well. All the dishes i tried here so far are good, but chicken taco is my favorite; the beef is a bit bland. The price is very reasonable, and the ladies that work there are friendly. If you enjoy Americanized Mexican food, stick with Taco Bell or Azteca or something. but if you enjoy authentic Mexican food, you got to try this place.

Oh is this place ever good. I can't believe it took me 7 years of living nearby to finally check it out. I am hooked on their burritos. I get a beans rice and cheese and the hubby gets a chicken. They are like real SoCal taco truck crackalicious! Nothing better that a burrito with a Mexican coke on a hot summer day. They also have a grocery section, well most of the store. They have all the basics plus some good veggies ( nice deal on avocadoes). All around great place.FYI: the signs up say they will soon be moving to across the street on Everett Mall Way in the old Blockbusters location.
