Fiddler's Inn Pub & Pizza

I met someone for lunch here and loved the super laid-back vibe with a delicious menu of pub fare. We sat outside and enjoyed a fall afternoon while sipping some good wine and cider. Our server was friendly and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. We just wanted a nibble, and their chips and salsa were gluten-free. The salsa was excellent, and the chips were so so.Loved the atmosphere and intrigued by the rest of their menu; I'll be sure to stop back by sometime with an appetite.

Pizza was great. The bartenders (Matt and Micah) were great. The waitress gave a snotty looks the whole time we were there and if we dared ask for anything it was met with disdain. Like we were insulting her by asking for cheese and red peppers (that she had delivered to everyone else that ordered pizza but us). She just kept rolling her eyes at us. Like even when coming out of the restroom. Like wtf did we do to you? Disappointing one person can't get on board with what customer service means.

Came here after going to magnuson park with the my dogs and grand dog. I can describe how good the food, drinks and above and beyond waitstaff. He came out quite often to check on us and our dogs. This was truly a hidden jewel we found. And will make plans to come again asap!!

Been coming here for 20 years. Always great. Last couple years, service is in the gutter. Have to order at the bar. Last visit half the tables still unbussed and dirty from last patrons. Not the same anymore.

Came in on a Thursday night with a friend and her pup. Spur of the moment decision when a show we were going to cancelled last minute. Their patio is dog friendly, covered, and heated! Those heat lamps are really doing a good job. I had to shed some layers to keep comfortable. There are actually two patios. The front one gets a lot of street noise but had more availability when we arrived. I learned later that the side patio has a walk-up window to order at. Or you can just go inside to the bar. The space inside has a typical pub feel and jovial atmosphere. There was live music (loud!) and a lively crowd. Service is fine. They bring your food out to you and that's that. I personally did not like the pizza. We shared The Grazer (olives, mushrooms, green peppers, cooked tomatoes & artichoke hearts, & mozzarella), and I found the crust too chewy and the toppings too bland. My friend took home the leftovers for her husband, and I took home a stomach ache. Nor did I care for the wine (an Italian red and a Cab). If I come back it'll be for beer and nachos.

The pizzas here are probably better by Seattle standards than by my snobby East Coast standards. While they do a good job with the toppings, with well-caramelized onions, good quality sausage, and so forth, the dough and cheese are not much better than a chain, I think. Nachos were also not super great.

We went today for lunch. Food was served one hour and 25 minutes after we ordered it, after others who arrived after us finished their food, paid, and departed. Neither the bartender nor the cook could have cared less about it. I wish I didn't have to give this one star. I will certainly never return.

I've been coming to Fiddler's since before I'd even moved to Seattle, nearly 20 years ago. In fact, it was one of the criteria that I used to pick the house I ultimately purchased (that my abode would have a pub within walking distance).It's a funky place, having been in constant use as a pub since 1934. The acoustics are terrible when there are a lot of folks in the pub or a band playing. And the clients varies from the crusty old-timers who've been coming in for decades opposite the millennial crowd who've moved in locally and have adopted it as their neighborhood pub. Still, I love the place, and although it's not as frequent a haunt for me as it once was, I still enjoy the occasional visit.This afternoon, my girlfriend and I met my parents for a some brews and food. There is no longer table service; clients need to go to the counter to order beer and food. We ordered a round of beers--they have 10 rotating taps, often with beer from the PNW--and food. Since it was mid-afternoon and we were already reasonably full from lunch, my girlfriend and I opted for the Firehouse nachos for the table (the Firehouse nachos have been on the menu at Fiddlers as long as I can remember). They were yummy, as always, and a great complement to our beers. My dad ordered the SCBLT (Smoked Chicken BLT), one of his favorites, and my mom the Big Papa Baked Potato, which she almost always orders. We all really enjoyed the food.There was a miscommunication with our order, and the server brought the meal of the day, the Beef Stroganoff Baked Potato, instead of the Big Papa as my mom had wanted. My mom really didn't want the special. The waiter was accommodating and made sure my mom had the correct order. All interchanges were pleasant, as has always been the case at the Fiddler.Hoping to continue being a regular patron at Fiddler's for the next 20 years!

Do yourself a favor and come try their food. Definitely a life changer experience. I WOULD SAY THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA IN SEATTLE.

Great food and cool environment. Patio is perfect for enjoying fall and summer. Excellent service.
