They are a lunch spot favorite but I ordered the orange chicken with brown rice and to my surprise it was awful. Chicken was dried and huge chunks with a teaspoon of sauce at the bottom. They put two tiny pieces of oranges that I guess made it orange chicken?

Avoid the pharmacy Thai that taste more like ketchup than traditional pharmacy Thai sauce. And the tofu that is deep fried to a crisp thru & thru.

I tried the Phad kee mao, Phad Thai, green curry, Panang curry, Thai Fried rice which I tried through a catered event. I found that the food was all pretty mid. The meat in the dishes was dry and the tofu in the curry was unseasoned. The curries had ok flavor but everything was kind of lackluster. I will say that I assume everything was ordered at the mildest spice since it was catered for a large group so it might perhaps be better at a higher spice level.

This is my go-to lunch spot when I'm craving Asian food during the work week because it's quick, reliable and affordable for the portions.I've tried a bunch of noodle dishes and have always been happy with the food. I especially like their ba mee heng and pad see ew. I'll have to try their basil fried rice next time because that looked really yummy as well.Take out is your best bet during lunch because it gets really crowded and busy.

The Ferry Noodle House is a great Thai spot with great people working there. It's super convenient to and from the Seattle ferries, the federal building downtown, and other businesses in the area. There's surprisingly a lot of dine-in space for a business lunch or group of people. The value is great, despite other restaurants in the area increasing prices, the Ferry Noodle House has maintained reasonable prices for hearty portion sizes! I would definitely choose this place over the chain Thai restaurants in Seattle. It's a hole in the wall gem that's worth visiting for lunch. You won't sacrifice flavor and taste here and your wallet will thank you!

My Seattle local friend took me here for lunch. Loved the food. I ordered Curry Fried Rice and it was mind boggling.. spicy & made to perfection. It's a casual dine in place tucked in an alley way in Downtown. Would love to try their curries next time. My Best Fried Rice in Seattle so far! Highly recommend for locals & visitors.

Disgusting "cleaning" practices. I personally witnessed how this restaurant "cleaned" its commercial kitchen appliances. After business hours last night, 4/25/23, a guy with a van hauled the disgustingly filthy, greasy appliances down to Post Alley below the restaurant, and stretched a hose from the bridge above, where he power-washed the biohazardous material onto the Post Alley brick roadway, with no drain or cleanup in sight. This biohazardous practice is unlawful, filthy, and only 2 blocks away from the Seattle Waterfront.
