Federico's Mexican Food

As much as I prefer to avoid chains, sometimes you need to break the rules. My regular dive Mexican joint was closed, so I gave this place a try. This location is open 24/7, so it's always available when the Mexican craving hits. They also have stuffed churros, which I've never heard of before and are delicious.The Chili Relleno burrito here is excellent. I've been to other Frederico locations and they are not as good as this one. The drive-through is pretty fast and the staff is friendly and efficient. Inside the restaurant is clean, but you may get an occasional homeless person in and around the store, as this is a "shady" neighborhood.I highly recommend this location.

I'm convinced the rolled tacos here are one of the best among all the surrounding Mexican drive thru's. And 3 rolled tacos with cheese & guacamole for only $4.49. Not bad. Also, on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, they have $5.00 burritos (red or green beef & green chile) and $1.79 tacos (beef, chicken and ground beef- hard shell topped with lettuce & cheese ). Service is always cordial; even without words, a smile goes a long way.

18.00 dollars for some carne asada nachos!! Don't get them, not worth 18 dollars what a rip off!js!! They take advantage!!

We absolutely love Frederico's, so I was heartbroken when my husband came home and told me about how bad of an experience he had. For whatever reason they made our California burrito with just beef and fries. No cheese. Dry. The woman who took the order was rude and condescending. Perhaps it was because we asked for guacamole on the side? Not sure what we did wrong. All the other locations I go to are excellent and they treat us well and make the food perfect! They are kind and we are kind to them also, giving tips when we can. I just don't like being treated like crap at a place I love so much. It feels worse when you get poor service and food at one of your favorite spots. Whhyeee??!

The food is ok, but not amazing. My major issue was that I asked for a dish with no guac or avocado as I am allergic and they did not listen. We drove away and thankfully I checked the dish because they did not listen. We turned around and went through the drive through again to get the correct order. As I said, it was just ok. Considering we wasted extra money just so they could get us an order that would not kill me makes me not want to come back again.

About 8ish on a Saturday night in need of a quick dinner. This was it. Only ordered shredded beef tacos. Two for him, one for me. Restaurant appeared clean at first glance, definitely could use a remodel. Gentleman that took our order was matter of fact he definitely didn't give the warm fuzzy vibe but he wasn't rude or condescending.Tacos only took about 5 minutes. When we first received them we weren't sure. The fried corn tortilla shells had a strange look to them. First bite gave an other opinion. These tacos were just about perfect. A little greasy with the right amount of cheese and lettuce. Really good seasoned beef. This would have been 5 star but...the hot sauce, both red and green didn't really have much flavor it was just hot and no refills on drinks unless you pay for it. And the bathrooms! Kinda gave me the heebee jeezies! Just go for the tacos!

Seems to be a chain wide problem of soggy rolled tacos. Will not eat that item at this chain. They look great, but they flop in the middle and fall apart with too much toppings. Red sauce was good at this location, but eat something else. Not crispy enough.

I ordered 2 burritos, one carne asada and the other a bean and cheese. When I got to the window he told me my order was $30, to which I asked him how that was possible and repeated my order to him several times, and he insisted that it was correct. So, I paid, and when I got my receipt I noticed he charged me for 2 carne asada burritos, and added beans and cheese to the second burrito. I told him this was wrong and he flat out either acted like, or truly couldn't, speak any English at all. The guy looked at me dumbfounded and motioned his hands up as to say "oh well." What a joke, this place is a sad excuse for a restaurant. At least hire a person who's interacting with customers that can speak English.

This place is good for fast Mexican food. What I love the best is their menudo on the weekends. Very flavorful, hint of spiciness, and they are not stingy with the meat! Make sure to arrive early too get the best serving if not you will get the end of the pot. The ambiance is clean and chill. So far this is my favorite place for menudo!
