Friendly service. Yummy food. The meats were so nicely seasoned and very juicy. The garlic sauce with the kabobs was delicious.Hummus was clearly homemade, very good, smooth, great flavor. I liked the spices they put on the salad. Very flavorful.I would definitely go back.

We had a lovely evening at this little spot. It's located at a split between roads in a toddler strip mall (4 or 5 stores?). Seems to perhaps be family run? Lovely woman waited on us.Food was authentic and pricing competitive. Mom was in heaven as she loves middle eastern food! Plenty of food when you order plates as she and dad did, with just the right size if you order a sandwich.Mom went all out ordering Arabic tea, falafel plate and lentil soup. The soup was nice and light unlike traditional American lentil soup. And she raved about the tea which included mint. She also enjoyed the falafel. Could tell she was in heaven given her huge smile. The hummus was good but not the same style she is accustomed to (have you seen the movie the hummus wars?)Dad had the mixed kaboabs plate. He's a tougher critic in general and felt it was good. He was very happy there was enough for lunch the next day! I had the gyro sandwich which hit the spot although I would have enjoyed a little more meat.Oh my gosh, the topper was the baklava which was out of this world delicious!Overall it was a nice night out which accomplished the goal of thanking mom for always preparing nutritious meals for us. Enjoyed being able to give back with a meal she thoroughly enjoyed!

TL;DR: Really good local Mediterranean shop. Large portion size. Heads up on paying for bottled water would be nice but otherwise a great overall dining experience. Complimentary side salad and pita&hummus is a nice added bonus for dining in :)Ordered:- Steak kabob (4/5): hard to go wrong with this entree. The meat was juicy, well-seared, and the rice was buttery- Lamb shank (4/5): hefty lamb shank in a delicious sauce/gravy to pour over the side of more buttery rice. So hearty and fillingBe back soon - cheers, Fattoush!

Total mom and pop place. Haven't been here in years! Located near SDSU tucked in a corner. A small place but has a bit of charm. The wall of different bills is pretty damn cool! The lady that helped me was nice.I got the-Chicken Shawarma Plate - rotisserie cooked, boneless, skinless, marinated and sliced chicken breast. Comes with rice, hummus, salad, pita bread, and garlic sauce-Yogurt drink-BaklavaChicken was flavorful but a bit too salty for me. But goes well with the rice. Love the citrus of the dressing for the salad. The garlic dip was bomb! Love that garlicky flavor! Pita bread was moist and soft. Hummus was standard. You can taste the mildness of the bean and nutty flavor. What I love to do and I'm sure that a lot of people do this. Is to take the pita bread.. lather the hummus, add the chicken, rice, and a bit of salad and roll it into almost a mediterranean spring roll. Bomb.com!The yogurt drink was creamy with a hint of salt flavor and a hint of sour. Not sweet. Not what I'm used to but not too bad!The baklava was good. Flaky layers with sugar and pistachio.

Wow. A truly mom and pop type place. I went late one evening and got a lamb gyro bowl and a chicken shawarma bowl to go. I already want to go back. The people working there were so friendly and genuine. Flavors off the charts. Portions are large. This place is legit!Update: We came back. Couldn't stay away so we drove 30 min from our hotel to eat here again! Beef shawarma bowl this time and it was amazing! I wish I lived in San Diego just for this restaurant.

Dreaming about their garlic dip and sizzling garlic chicken! Did I feel like I could knock out a whole crew of vampires after? Absolutely. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked ... and not too spicy. The portion sizes are huge and a plate is big enough to share between two people (... and maybe a size of garlic dip). Definitely check this place out, even if it's a little out of the way. It's a pleasant surprise.

Fattoush has been in the area for a long time and they aren't going anywhere. The food here is amazing, their service is on point and the prices are more than fair. The portions are huge and the food is always fresh. I usually come by in the evening for gyros. Dani, one of the ladies that works there, always seems to be the one taking care of me. She's always pleasant and efficient when taking our order over the phone. My go to is the gyro sandwich. It's overstuffed with meat. Every few bites some meat will fall out, this is what you want from you gyro. The lentil soup is also a go to. They're open late and the quality doesn't lack late at night. Always awesome. There's indoor and outdoor seating. But we always get our food to go. There's plenty of seating.

Small hole in the wall mediterranean restaurant. When I went with my boyfriend we were the only ones who ate in but many people came to pick up their orders to go.The food was pretty good. I got a sizzling garlic chicken plate. I really liked the tomato and garlic flavor of the food along with the sauce. The chicken was a little dry but the sauce kept it a little moist. Our plates also came with the appetizer of salad and hummus with pita bread. The plating of everything was wonderful!I would definitely come back here again to try other dishes!

Used to come here all the time in college at State. Prices can't be beat. It was very nostalgic walking in ~5 years later. Nothing has changed. I love the wall decor, the TV blasting in the back and smell of freshly grilled chicken and kabobs. I always get the same order of Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Fries, and a can of Vimto. I also do a Yelp Check In to grab a piece of free Baklava. Food is great. Sauce is amazing and the powder on the fries are addicting. Service is always kind and friendly. I usually get mine to-go, but there is ample seating inside. This day, I took mine to-go, parked at State, and walked to the Student Union to enjoy.
