Fate Brewing Company - Phoenix

I do not know that I like the seating here. It's very odd. There aren't really any booths. There is booth style seating but then the other side of the table is 2 chairs. Other than that everything was great. The staff are so nice and so willing to go over the menu items with you. They gave recommendations. The burgers were delicious.

Pretty average considering the great space and location.I made the mistake of ordering a cocktail at a brewery, but not a huge fan of craft beer. This place wouldn't have been my personal choice, but we were there for a birthday. The margarita was okay, but it's Arizona, so it wasn't anything to get excited about. We ordered an item of the brunch menu and off the regular menu. To start, the brunch item was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was not at all flaky and buttery, plus way too dense. Almost like if a flourless chocolate torte was a biscuit...if that makes any sense lol. The sausage gravy was average, but nothing special. The potatoes on the side were nice and crispy, but the egg had clearly broken when they went to fry it and they went with it anyway which resulted in an over-cooked egg. We also shared the fish and chips. The fish was cooked to a nice, crispy finish. The slaw was actually tasty as well which isn't the case everywhere. Fries were kind of soggy. Our server seemed very disinterested in our experience and frequently came, grabbed a quick drink order from someone from our 10 top, and then would run away as fast as she could before looking to see if anyone else needed a drink refresh. For a Sunday brunch this place was virtually empty, but it's also Summer. I'm sure this place crushes it during snow bird season as it's probably great for sports and they had a nice patio. But the true great places, are the ones busy in Phoenix, even during the hot summer months.

Went with a friend who had a long wait over and decided on this place. The vibe is very young, but glad to see a wide age range of folk in the game area as well as inside. Ribs were incredible as well as the burger. However the Gluten Free pizza was massively under cooked with something I would never say about a pizza. There was so much cheese and again because it was under cooked, the cheese was not melted. Typically. I would send it back, but because there were some time constraints, we ate a slice and that was that. I would definitely come back and look at the small plates.

Love having a Fate in midtown! We stopped in for lunch and beers on a Saturday afternoon and had great service at the bar (I wish I remembered our bartender's name!). She was super attentive and helpful in offering tastes of beers we hadn't tried. Split the Jess pizza and drunken chicken. Also loved the open bright space. Everything was delicious and we'll absolutely stop by again when we're in this part of town.

I wanted to give this place 4 stars bc of their lack of any vegan food. But the beer, ambiance, and service are great. I do wish there was outdoor seating all your long. The Fateful IPA is one of my favorites in Phoenix. Please get vegan options! I would be here much more often.

Great place to visit for amazing food and beverages. I ordered the spicy margarita, extra spicy and was very disappointed as there was absolutely no spiciness to it at all. It tasted like a regular margarita. The hatch chili beer was very good with the taste of chilies. I had the drunken chicken with sweet potato fries. The chicken was lightly battered in tempura and cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful meat with ranch and cilantro jalapeño sauces to dip into. The fries were plentiful and good. The fried chicken sandwich was also tempura battered and piled high with avocado (added) cheese, lettuce and onion. This was delicious and cooked perfectly as well. The pizza was smothered in cheese and went down easily. There was live music playing and a nice night for a great meal.

Super clean, well spaced and various styles of seating. Large bar, plenty of high tops and booths. Good for small and large parties .it was such a beautiful night for them to have the doors open, nice breeze and tons of TVs to watch sports.Good music, not too loud. Food was delicious! Softest pretzel with perfect amount of salt. Drinks were on point, service was great. Dog friendly. Also had games on the patio to keep the kiddos busy or entertain friends! Will definitely go back!

Went here for a quarterly office meetup event. They have a conference room on the side so good for small team events. Have a small outdoor area with some fun game setups. I would say not the very usual brewery setup but it feels modern and fancy. Has a parking lot outside but I won't be surprised if that gets full often. Coming to beer and drinks, the options are nice overall. Tried 2 beers and both tasted nice and fresh. However, my experience with old-fashioned was pathetic. Maybe one of the worst old-fashioned I have ever tried. Food was bar food and did not have a chance to look into any other food menu that they may have had. The staff was nice overall.I would not mind going here again. It is a fun place to be and has great beer options for sure.

Only been once been loved it. Food options and vibe were great. I haven't been back because I found the prices a bit higher than I would like for a more casual stop and bar vibe but the unique tasting options are enticing! Would love if they'd offer a lower price point or smaller options to show for more affordable tastings:)
