Fat Baby is the embodiment of Tik Tok in a restaurant. It's a vibey fusion restaurant that plays Gen Z music. Service was fine. The server didn't check on us that much but they do have lots of food runners to get the food out when it's ready. I would suggest focusing on the left side of the menu and highlight anything fried as their fried food was amazing. I was intrigued by the interesting ingredients of their sushi rolls, but I felt like the flavors clashed more than went together. Last note, they have surprisingly very cheap beer. What we ate:- Fried Chicken Bao: Amazing, must try- Fried Tofu Bao: Really good, great option for the vegetarians - Rice Cakes: Really good! The fried cakes were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Great!- Coconut Shrimp: This breading and fry was done to perfection. - Avocado Roll: This was the best roll we got. Less ingredients than other rolls but the flavors mixed well- Spicy Tuna Roll: Wasn't a fan of the aji amarillo sauce with this roll. Too sweet to go with the rest of the roll.

My friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday. We had a reservation but it wasn't too crowded so we probably would have been fine without it. Service was friendly and attentive and ambiance was comfortable. To drink I ordered the Fresh Start, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was very refreshing and light. I do think it could have used a little more vodka but other than that I was satisfied. To eat I ordered three fried chicken bao and the mushroom dumplings. I loved the bao and the dumplings were delicious too, but I'm docking a star because I found a large piece of plastic in my dumplings. The waiter was very apologetic and comped that dish but it's a little hard to imagine how that ended up in my food... all in all I would give Fat Baby another try next time I'm in the area and would certainly come back again for cocktails, if nothing else.

Went there for a Friday night dinner and the place was great. I'm not a fan of sushi, so I opted for one of the many other choices: sizzling Mongolian beef. It did not disappoint. It was flavorful and hot. It's served with your choice of rice or Lo mein. I chose the lo mein and was happy I did. Being a Friday night, it should be no surprise that the place was pretty loud. Seems like a good place to meet friends for a drink or dinner, but certainly not a quiet dinner. I look forward to returning.

Best lo mein & spicy marg I've had in a LONG time!! Service was amazing and it was a busy busy Friday night and we had a big group. Great spot for a night out with friends. Get different plates to share! We had gotten just about on of everything on the menu to try it out and we loved everything we got. The restaurant was colorful with art and perfect decor. 10/10 experience and would recommend this be added to your must try list.

Went here first a very light dinner with friends. The service was great and food was good especially the brussel sprouts. Short rib dumplings were good I just wish they had a kick. I also tried the fried chicken bao buns and tuna hand roll. Nothing really jumped out but I would say this is a solid safe choice especially before a night out. The drinks were also kind of meh but service was attentive and the atmosphere was very lovely and fun. I would give it another try and perhaps try other things on the menu.

Cool digs with aged (or meant to look aged) brick and Asian murals. Lots of bar seats and high tops with some booths. The menu is half sushi, half Asian fusion. We tried the latter. Wings: Honey habanero with decent crunch, decent moisture, noit quite juicy but definitely not dry. Sauce had a bit of heat and more sweet, but very lightly applied. Not saying they were a frozen product or bad, but just kinda "there." Decent enough; no better, no worse. Fried dumplings: Ditto. Scallion pancake: Ditto on the pancake, but unique and impressive whipped edamame dip made with hummus. Brussels Sprouts: Billed as kung pao and had peanut crumbs, but not much sauce or zip to it. Again, pleasant enough, but just kinda "there." Boneless Ribs: Tasted more like marinated steak tips, with not much glaze, not much flavor, and a dry feel. Broccolini was voluminous, but I think mostly regular broccoli, and mostly stalks. It's a fun place with friendly service and pretty good value. Food isn't bad, and it's certainly creative, but not really compelling enough execution-wise to want to go back.

Ordered in dinner with a coworker while we were working late! Between the two of us we got the sweet potato sushi (lol I know), edamame fried rice, spicy edamame, Thai mango salad and Brussels sprouts (yum!). Everything was delicious! Also get that spicy mayo, it's like crack! I'd be a regular if I lived here.

I was visiting my friend in Boston and this is her favorite place ever so I had to give it a try. Our server was nice but took a while to come to the table. We got a bunch of appetizers to share which were delicious. We got a bunch of different sushi rolls for our entree and we were happy with all of them. Very casual vibe here

It's a super popular spot, and I sort of see the reason for it now. The sangria was delicious. The server forgot us a few times but we were chatting up a storm so it wasn't really an issue. The inside is loud and lively, but despite that there were some children there. The Buffalo chicken bow buns were amazing and just the right amount of spicy. I got the Thai curry noodles and it was definitely hitting Indian notes and I really enjoyed it.

Megan, our waitress, effortlessly served a group of 16 of us. She was patient, calm and did not forget one thing. I've honestly never been more impressed with service of a large group...and the entire group agreed. Food was great and the restaurant is very cool. Definitely recommend and cheers to Megan!
