Amazing food and speed of service. I tried the chicken and goat succqars, and loved the flavor and rich marinade of the goat meat especially. If you don't like dealing with bones, the chicken is a better choice. the rice of the succqar dishes are very flavorful, and made me want to clean my plate to the last grain I ordered one of each sambusa flavor -- the potato and spinach sambusas are my favorite; the former was creamy, and the matter was the most fragrant. They came out piping hot too!Wish we were given instructions on which dressing to use where initially -- there is a green spicy dressing and another one that tastes like buttermilk ranch, but it was still pretty easy to figure out.

The food is infused with the love and nostalgia of immigration... The food is home, love and hospitality...We had goat meat carrot stew and salad over rice. We also ordered vegetarian sambusas. You will be welcome with a smile and kindness while they help you figure out your selection. The ambiance is simple clean magical and peaceful.I love the people, the place and the food!!!

Authentic food. Chicken and beef succguear are both good. Extremely flavorful. We get them both with the rice and pasta. The pasta is very good. The goat is good as well. Incredibly tender, soft and seasoned perfectly. Unfortunately the customer service is trash. They rarely answer the phone and don't go an hour before they open or an hour before they close. Good luck!! Overall, great prices. Nice portion sizes.

Delicious fish and chicken, but don't make the same mistakes I did. 1.Do not show up as soon as they open. The meats take at least half an hour to cook. And rather than the cook arriving 30 minutes before opening to cook the meat, they open the doors at noon for lunch, completely unprepped. Noon is when the cook arrives and begins cooking the meat. Clearly no-one is managing the restaurant professionally. Service is kind but totally untrained and disorganized. There isn't anyone dedicated to running front-of-house, so long stretches went by with no-one at the counter/register/visible. 2. Don't order the watermelon drink- way too sweet and no flavor. I squeezed 3 lime wedges into it to make it drinkable. 3. Don't pour the green sauce on the salad! It's a very very spicy sauce. I felt the heat level was more appropriate for dipping the sambusas or chicken. That said, our platter only came with 1 alternative salad dressing, a mild ranch dressing which I did not like, so I just squeezed more lime on the salad. Definitely do order the sports plate to share for 2! We had the fish and chicken and both were extremely delicious - well seasoned and well-balanced. The rice and pasta were ok too. My friend also really enjoyed her potato sambusa. Hopefully they get more organized with a pro-manager soon. This place is hidden in a run down strip mall with crazy mad drivers that will run you over if you don't pay attention. Between that, the lack of decor, and the damaged, faded outdoor sign, it is definitely better for take-out, than dining in.

As you can see I was a loyal customer who gave a 5 star 3 years ago. However food quality isn't was it use to be. Went to pick up an order after a lot day and was told they no longer accept Apple Pay but can do zelle. Wasted my time driving only to be told I cant pick up my food. Customer services wasn't helpful. Won't be coming back after many years.

Fast causal place specializing in Somali Cuisine. Not the bedt looking of areas, but the food makes up for it.We had the beef jabti(like a chapati in case Google failed you.)Beef was pretty good. Food was enough for one person per entree. Dipping sauces green /white were amazing, I wish they would add their names to the menu or let you order more.Decor needs some work. The singular restroom was clean. Scummily, they add a 4% extra for credit cards and don't mention it anywhere. Also have those panhandling square tablets. - 1 star for that. Give it a try!

There are four things I look for in a restaurant when I'm using Yelp so maybe this will help you. 1. Prices - very reasonable here 15-18 for an entree 2. Star rating - has a decent star rating + mine3. Location - got a pretty empty and decent size parking lot next to it so really accessible 4. Portion size - the 15 dollar chicken entree was enough to fill me up as a 200 lb 6'3 guy for lunch. Really generous portions They also got the food out pretty quick (15 min at most) but it was pretty empty when I came (Saturday afternoon) So a bit of a hidden gem, but really well done!
